Ngl I stopped reading it after like 20 chapters where Amber kept hurting himself to guilt trip the older guy. I can't stomach it when someone uses selfharm as a way to coerce something from others. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
My ex of 3 month threatened me with suicide over 3 times and made me feel like shit all the while stalking me and harassing me online through his friend's discord accounts for 3 month, blamed me for his alcoholism, for getting sent to hospital for his health worsening, everything. It made me feel like shit and I still have issues because of that.
(I broke up with him because he was too obsessed with me and was getting sick trying to accomodate me which I asked him to stop but he didn't listen, so I ended it before if went worse...or I hoped so but he blew up and went ballistic on me)
So I really hate it when it's used as a plot for romance.

She is carefree and not extraordonary besides her potions that's the whole point. She isnt a superhuman just a young girl with deep knowledge and an eccentric personality with deep respect for potion research. It's a funny comedic adventure/spice of life vibe. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Not the kind with superduper overpowered mc who solves and knows everything alone. So maybe cut it some slack? Imo it's super fun even tho I read mangas and manhwas with overpowered main characters, that traveledded back in time/came back alive etc this one is just not that type of story. It's much lighthearted and our mc is more ordinary, and that's why it's good. It's still not that long so I cant say for sure but I like it a LOT more if a story is more about a group of people than a singular Mc. It's much better when the characters around the mc have time to shine as well and have unique designs and BG story.

I was so happy reading it at the beggining but with it being so tiny I have to zoom in, tilt the screen/my head to read it, and there are misgendering and translation issues that would be so easy to correct at the very least it's just not worth the read now. ╥﹏╥

As scary as it started out, and as scared I was about this going in the redflag way, I'm as much pleased and giggling every chapter. They are soooo cuteee pls I'm getting diabetes and I love that Rodrick is respecting her wishes and isn't forcing his way with her. Makes me realise that the guys I have been with are total assholes, and it's not natural to guilt your SO into having sex.

At first I hated the Our ML BUT HEAR ME OUT
He was literally throwing a temper tantrum at the beggining. He was testing Inez and was desperate for her attention...he even admitts it. Its not like they were married or lovers. Sure it was an engagement and a promise between their families but if everyone around you is saying that it's normal to have lovers and look down on people who stay loyal, yet you are dedicated to "only fool around before marriage" it means He isn't a complete dirtbag. And the fact the idiot pinned so hard for Inez in all their life He didn't get married in any of them...he is a capital dumbass when it comes to being cunning, but he reads the room so well and he is the type of guy who even if he messed up you can't stay mad with cos he is genuine, emotionally available supportive, caring and loving to the point of his own demise. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Is it just me or it's painfully obvious that the uncle framed the ML, and then put up traps for the FL and played them off as coincidences and inevitable to get her to be engaged to him ITS SO OBVIOUS GIRL. One minute she says her abuse was unknown to anyone besides her and her stepmother next she says she met the first prince during one of her lectures. One time she questions the relationship between the first prince and her stepmother next she is saying He visited them frequently and never did the 2nd prince. Like GIRL...

It's a nice story in regards to her and ML relationship, I'm all for a supportive hubby who knows boundaries, it's just author seems to have made her a bit dumb outside of the scenes where her brain is needed. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
It had potential and it fell off so hard so fast man. It could have been a romcom, but noooo. Make it a miscommunication lvl 1000 and damsel in distress MC and a toxic but reformed ML
