Idk, I guess as someone who's been through self-harm. He did try to hide it, and didn't use it as an excuse to keep him tied down. Not initially. I think people do get to a point though where they break. It's not a good thing, but it is human. Especially when both of them have so much trauma. Ash wanted to solve it together. I mean thinking about it Tennessee was a lonely person who didn't believe he could be loved, let alone what that felt like. I can't say they're perfect but I think their puzzle pieces fit each other's.

I'm not blaming him for his SH don't get me wrong i understand sometimes people see no better way out. I had toughts of it a lot of times, but never acted on it in the end. I just felt like he used it to manipulate Tennessee and that's why I said its something that's not my cup of tea. I don't like to see it romanticised but I can understand that it can be interesting to see as a story of 2 broken person finding a way to make eachother whole but in a biiit twisted way.

i feel bad for you... but amber self-harmed to cope with his childhood trauma and calm his thoughts. he didn't do it to make tennessee stay with him. he actually tried to hide it, but tennessee had a bad feeling, so he went to check on him. amber genuinely felt bad about it, too.

but, in my perspective, tennessee fell in love with amber because amber took good care of him after his accident and understood him even when he was difficult to understand.

so, yeah, that's just my perspective, but i understand how you feel about it, too. i understand what you mean, and i respect your perspective as well. i just saw amber's situation differently because, for me, he wasn't doing it to manipulate tennessee. but i get why it might come across that way to you, especially if you don't like seeing self-harm romanticized in stories.

i suggest you try to finish reading it because it's actually good! it's more of a comedy for me, though, haha.

Exacly it would have been so much better if he had this same realization at the last scene where Chase almost shot himself and was so distraught like BRO what's the differences now? He risked his life both times and now you just blurt it out? It's not like Chase had said anything after that incident, that made MC more secure that he won't be abandoned by him if he comes clean. (Not like he should have had any of that worries before either) So it was just SO POINTLESS.

hmmm, its the way chase was so ready to throw himself in harms way and face his fear for pete that im pretty sure why joshua just blurted it out. he's more afraid that chase will deny pete more than denying him. its abt the kid. like im damn sure if chase was like "fuck the kid" josh would immediately leave and that what scares josh and why he held off from telling chase. but seeing what chase did in this ep, josh was sure that chase will accept pete. he's in love with chase but pete matters most

Yeah but he could have let them meet much sooner and Chase was having a mental breakdown from fear of Joshua leaving him. He was also never antagonistic towards Pete, He asked why Joshua never introduced them and was affraid He was relucant cos he was gonna leave him. I understand that now he feels it's safe to tell, but it was just blurted out, there could have been some more discussion or something it feels thrown tgt as hell. Don't get me wrong out of all other works this is the tamest and it's not that bad, but I hope it won't go worse.

Hahaha you’ll be surprised. I was too, also Greyson is like a Damsel in distress in this story. It is like the roles are in reversed, which makes the story more fun and cute. And Dane is completely lost to Greyson in a cute way. Also this is a bit of a spoiler. Dane will quit his job as a fire fighter and will promise not to risk his life again because it makes Greyson really sad seeing Dane put himself to danger and Dane hated it. I’m telling you Greyson is one lucky man.
