So we all thought the same lol. I was 4 chapters was in and everything felt so rushed and cliche. Not even trying to be hateful, it's just that everything is predictable in a bad way. We weren't even given enough time to connect with the characters before shit happened. .
I have read a lot of BL that's people consider are bad but there's still a charm to them unlike this. Let's see if this will get better.
I'm probably late to this but I just started reading this and I was obsessed with it until the rape chapter. It was completely out of character and also didn't make sense. There are multiple ways he could've refused him/pushed him away without giving him something traumatizing as rape.That chapter pretty much ruined the fluffy guy for me, it was just so stupid??? like can someone actually justify or explain why that reasoning made sense for that character? I will probably get over it at some point but wow that was outta nowhere. It's not "disappointed but not surprised" but "disappointed and surprised"
The only thing I can say is that he seems to have a self destructive tendency… and no self esteem at all.. dunno how that translates to assault, besides maybe… “I don’t know why you can’t see I’m evil, so I’ll do something irredeemable to make you see” which is just… a wildly insane thought process, but one that’s unfortunately not unheard of in reality..
