I would say "illusion hunter from another world" the misunderstandings are similar, everybody thinks the MC is hiding his strength because of his aura but he's seriously weak in his current state (MC is an Overworked Alien who took over a human body to escape work, strong->weak )

I remember reading this manhua around 5 years ago so its a pretty old manhua but ill do my best to remember it. So the mc is a middle school girl and she was sent to live with this popular guy in her new school because (if i remember correctly) her mom and his mom are friends.
