The only good thing to come out of this is 2 things:
One, character design, love that everyone looks unique and stylish, really makes it feel like the MC is a popular kid that plays around and that the friends do too. ML contrast this well and even Hikaru has that childish look that tells you that he's someone with no real world experience at all.
Two, the concept of "Mates vs Fated". A lot of Omegaverse stories sort of use the two as interchangeable terms even when it's established that "Fated mates" are:
A.) Fairytale
B.) Ultra-Rare
C.) A kind of media term for celebrity couples on TV(oddly specific yet I've seen a few actually do this (idk why though, plot convenience most likely?))
(although more story-wise, "mates" for the first hand of the story, then "fated mates" upon nearly the finale)
It's actually nice for once to see the "what if so and so was with someone else (most likely the second lead), would they abandon them for ~True Love ~" scenario actually happen and aside from the ML being a creep at the end (really dude? "You need me to comfort your inner beast/monster" bitch ain't that you??? Should've ended the pairing lowkey at least then maybe the author would go full psycho omega top), the concern about accidentally raping your true mate and the idea of leaving your supposedly "forever lover" for a 'better version' is especially interesting, actively choosing your partner when technically there's someone 'perfect' waiting for you is an incredible display of love and unique way to pull out the "I'm not good enough " cliche!
Such a shame that it isn't used more (although I will admit, it's hard to pull off, even this author barely passed in my eyes). I think that had the MC's trauma been explained more in detail about what happened, it could've been more tragic if it was revealed that that's what the MC's dad did to his mom and that's why he's hesitant to mate/mark someone.
Anyways long rant out of the way, future me don't reread this EVER. We wasted too much time on this trash because we thought the author just had a weak 3 chapters, when in reality, the author just had a decent 2-3 chapters of think pieces and nothing else.

Ok so for what I'm reading from the comments, this manhwa didn't really translate the story well from novel to manhwa since there was apparently supposed to be more turmoil and nuance to both Zirgil and Kay which makes a lot of sense looking back.
Kay literally witnesses the aftermath of a woman who realized she had no power to nobility and decided the better option was to just accept his faith??? Like I'm very glad that I got the above context after reading cus I kinda thought the whole time that author only took the gravity of Kay's situation seriously for like, idk? Plot extension? Or just drama?
Now I'm not saying that bad in itself, I read this thing completely just to see if Kay was actually gonna go through killing Zirgil. Would be interesting if he actually did.
Anyways, would I recommend this? Depends on your boundaries. Rape, coercion, unwanted pregnancy, dubcon and violence are all the ones I name off the top of my head, and that's just for the main couple. Lord knows what happens to the side characters (expect Schuman(?))
Honestly I just wish they gave more info on Helena, it seems like she had more shit going on with her mother that doesn't really get resolved with anything but "nah she ded stop asking."

Also lowkey I'm just staying so that he can finally meet all his children in person and then the grand family reunion. The gods are definitely interesting, but it would have been even better if the author didn't need to feel like every woman in the MC's vicinity had to either fear or love him romantically. Like the misunderstandings still could've happened with the underlying harem tones.

Lowkey kinda hate that the Prince only gave her a chance to be free on the day of the wedding like??? If you knew her ass wasn't in it to stay in one place AND that she didn't wanna live with you anymore and travel the world. Shouldn't YOU as the soon-to-have-been husband/fiancee just be like "I love you Alphina, how we get married so I can call you my wife but afterwards you get to do whatever the fuck you want, we're just doing this for formality and presentation for the nation, they don't need to know what goes on between us" or IDK.... "I love you Alphina, but I can clearly see you and I have different plans in life, so whenever you're ready you can come back to the kingdom with open arms" or just leave her alone...
I understand romance was a pretty big part of the story but I thought it would finally be nice to at least find that let's the FMC live an independent life while having a safe space to go home too, like damn, is that too much to ask?

Lowkey this felt like watching the snide sassy kid in your group get together with the cringe ragebaiter cus he looked nice and was always teasing her. Like they caught feelings and got together during the first year, the banter was funny and stuff...
But now you're seniors and they still have the exact same banter. In fact, you could pin point that week's drama and dialogue options based on what they had for breakfast.
Jokes aside, this manhua was cute, though I def wish they had more to talk about.
