While I do love Pil-gyum and Namnu together, I have a feeling to cope Namnu is gonna hook up with thah one brother in love with him. And I’m low key here for it, lol. I love unrequited love. And I feel like this author always has some for of it in their stories.

I wish author would have dived into expanding on the second couple. It had a lot of potential. I feel like the alpha only being into the beta because he told him how he felt was a reach. They could have had so much angst as the Alpha developed feelings for the beta. We could have gotten so many flashbacks to their lives together too.

This was a good read! I wanted to add my two cents so far.

I feel like people are quick to call the green hair guy toxic, but I feel like his reactions are quite normal. I feel like he knew all along he had some type of feelings for our MC. Towards the beginning of the story he said something like “he isn’t staying over at that guys house, means I still have a chance.” I imagine he kind of had already given up because MC was so in the closet with no signs of wanting to leave it. So when he saw that the MC was changing for the sake of someone else, ir hurt him. I know they weren’t technically dating, but going out or having a situationship with someone in the closet is hard. All the things he ended up saying were out of hurt/reactionary. On the flip side, our MC probably also had feelings for green haired guy at some point, but because green hair guy was never “serious” and kept sleeping around, MC felt safe to stay with him because it would never lead to anything serious. Their relationship was each others safe spaces at the time. They were friends with benefits and nothing else.

Now I feel like green hair guy is in a little bit of denial and in self destruct mode. If MC can change that much for someone else… then all he has to do is be more like Inwoo to win him back. Maybe from here on out we can say that green hair guy is being a bit toxic, before this I didn’t think so because MC wasn’t being great to him either. So if anything they were both toxic to each other.

Inwoo on the other hand is a classic anxiously attached person. He is doing anything and everything he can to keep MC because, because of his trauma, he is always low key waiting for people to leave him. So he has to do everything he can for them not to. Believe me we’ve all been there. Even if that means doing things you don’t want to, ie, telling MC to go on the blind date. He won’t get over his trauma until he is able to address the abandonment issues. What he is doing tho Can also be considered manipulative because he isn’t being genuine. And people pleasing is a form of manipulation imo. I’m curious how they’ll go about having him over come it.

Anywho! All that to say that the author did a good job in showing us how everyday people deal with real issues. It felt very believable and it was refreshing to see these concepts fleshed out so well!

Listennnnnnnnn, I’m such a sucker for Alphas marking the clueless Beta. I’ve only seen it a handful of times but every time it’s a chefs kiss. Also the professor can definitely get it!!!’ Such a great character design.

I think that Heesung is going to be the person to reveal to us a little more on why or how JK came about having said Jinx. I feel like it’s not really like… a secret because JK frequented gay bars (if you remember when the Doc told him to kiss Dan, he told him he’d see him at the bars) to look for fuck buddies. And if I remember correctly, the guy he was fucking when he called Dan mentioned something about his Jinx too.

I dont think Heesung is truly a love rival because Dan is just starting to realize how he feels for JK. If anything I feel like Dan will always find him uncomfortable until we reach the climax where I think Heesung will put Dan in a compromising situation which will make JK misunderstand which will in turn make him take out his anger on Dan.

I think the boiling point will be that something is going to happen to Dans grandma, so he’ll have to go to the hospital, the same night JK has a match and that will be Dans breaking point… and possible Heesung swooping in to help Dan get to his grandma because JK will want to fuck per usual over anything else. (Which last time that happened he told Dan never to do it again) But I feel like grandma is either gonna almost die again or straight up die.

I will die on this hill and say JK was into Dan since the very beginning, when he stared at Dan the way he did when he saw him for the first time, then asked whose guest he was. If you pay attention the way he stares at Dan… also the first time he did it with Dan (and ever since) he does or raw… but when he kicked out the other ex fuck buddy there were condoms everywhere. But he literally is always staring at Dan. And Listennnnnnnnn I know he’s a toxic red flag, but even so I think he’s been into Dan since the beginning and I’m curious how he’ll act when they finally get together. My bet is sunshineXgrumpy trope. Almost like Dangerous convinience store.

I’m curious to know if JK’s Jinx is related to an ex lover and if the author will introduce us to that lover or if it’ll be like BJ Alex where it’s more of just a haunting memory. Either way, I do agree with a lot of the comments of how the format of the story is really similar to BJ Alex, and JK is probably going to realize he loves Dan in the same way BJ Alex did. But even so I don’t mind cliches.

I just KNEW the brother was in love with him too. He was the most puzzled that Namnu started not sleeping with them anymore. I have a feeling Pgyun or however you spell his name is going to do something to distance himself from his Dad and the angst is coming along. Which sucks because Namnu already has such low self esteem I don’t think he can handle it, like his brother said. ):

Im a little confused on the plot line. So Pi-gyun killed his uncle because his uncle wanted to kill Namnu right? But I guess the uncle didn’t die… so then who is the person who Namnu is always talking to? The one he said to give his son back to him?

Hear me out… I reread all of Jinx recently and I feel like ML has been into Dan since he accidentally touched his penis in chapter one, lmao. There are a lot of lingering stares and glances from ML towards Dan. And a lot of the things he’s done have been reactionary. While I am not saying that ML has good intentions at all or reacted the right way, I am saying that he was at least interested from the beginning and a lot of the things he had done up to this point have been to appease Dan in some way.

He’s started to at least be a little better with Dan, with the kissing and the nipple play, and you can tell he likes it when Dan also gets off, I mean I could be totally projecting but I feel like ML just sucks at showing interest and has hella trauma. It gives me Painter of the night vibes honestly.

I’m so bad with names, but I’m hoping MC can get marked by his new Alpha.

I came into this manga with low expectations but high key I think those two are soooo cute! I think they are going to help heal from this tramas tbh. So I’m routine for them officially.

This is one of the few manwhas I buy chapters for, and it’s on a hiatus until 26 Aug 2023 just fyi!

I get that Dojin isn’t able to express his emotions very well and that the other dude is like his total opposite but mannnn, I need a heartfelt goodbye or SUMTHINNNN.

I do agree the pace of the chapter is a little odd, I’m reading it more like a montage than like a linear chapter. Hopefully we get some fluff soon.
