The further I read, the further my interest declining. Idk where this story will leads to and the the delivery feels jumpy. You know, like what will you see when reading Chinese manhwa? One panel tell this then the next one tell that, so many confusing emotions show at once. I can grasp the main feeling by only look at the bigger picture, not by looking at every single panel in the chapters. I will say this manhwa is a bad one.
Hilda keeps being ooc and seems confused with what's her main goal (and what was it again the main goal of this game? I have no idea). Not to mention the so called Satan acts pretty much the same. The manhwa feels lacking in term of cause and effect the more story progressing. Well I can't complain, since I know already most of Isekai theme story kinda not well written but still I want to enjoy them once I read them...
Been hanging for 45 ch, so many things still unclear for me. Like why do you need to raise money when there's no important usage or good store from the system (at least make it reasonable like any other game themed story plot!). Why the sudden gacha game and sudden mini game that put the mc to act openly in the midst of her work surrounded by people (npc just forced to let it slide like that? No wonder mc felt empty towards the game and make her capable doing nonsense things). Why the Satan always feels forgiving about mc (I know this syndrome always appear in this genre). Where's the direction of Satan's mother father role, they seem insignificant. I wonder if this story has novel, will it be even worse or better to read from the source..huff
Oh I didn't realized I only mentioned bad things of this manhwa. Actually the art is good, the horror vibe is good at the beginning chapters but slightly lowered the tense since the story is leading to other direction (If I don't read it wrong). Hilda's abrupt actions and decisions are kinda funny and you can feel the same embarrassing moment with her. I like the slow burn story plot, but unfortunately this is not the I way I looked for
So many things predictable and plot holes are scattered everywhere, but one thing for sure, ciella's feelings really break my heart.
Everyone's just witched by the so called FL and every incident is storming around ciella. Idk what's the real matter about ciella and 2nd prince, but the rest of things has happened are predictable. Let's see more if this manhwa is readable in the near future coz I want to know the solution for this story
Imo the romance pov at the start till middle really consumed and tiring me due to the negative thoughts that appears here and there. I find it hard to read, coz I can pretty much relate to those thoughts. Now everything's become clear one by one keep me stick to read this till the future end but with the cost emotional DMG from the plot
༼;´༎ ༎༽
Idk since when, perhaps since the plot became clear, then they're telling each other's stories. I read while listening to genshin ost. These three played in loop sequentially
1.Nocturnal illumination
2.Lustrous stars
3.Luminescence of eventide
It becomes even more lovely when reaching spin off story. I can feel and imagine the love and passion they hold for each other thanks to these three lol
Let's be clear here that this story background is from nobility era that has their own standard. Not like today (even today's standard is still lacking) that trying to 'erase' racism.
So trying to downgrade the manhwa by saying it's racist.. well yes, but they trying to match the timeline lol don't you know how to build plot is not only by the characters action but also their appearance etc?
And it's like any other similar genre, dead, live again, become powerful, meet love, being confident then fight. I know some of reader will find it boring, but what do you expect? You click, you read, you don't like it, leave it
While you have a point, as much as its a nobility era genre, its still pretty much a fantastical setting. So adding any kind of racism isn't needed or even expected
I do see it a bit more if an unconscious bias on the creator's end considering there are other melonated characters. Its still good to point out racism and biases so either the current author, or future creators understand and maybe recognize these biases and know not to add them to their story.
People can still read and critique something at the same time, and i still find the story decent
This is the first game themed manhwa that I enjoy and felt engage to it. Thanks to the translator that explains the slang words, although I'm often doing MMORPG I still kinda not familiar with some of them lol. I can't believe this plot delivery is coming from some bl... I envy the guild experience that neuta having there (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 I wonder if there's such game has such guild, so supportive and warm.
Unch gotta back when new chapters released, love the plots, chars interactions, and the drawing! So adorable
