Yes and no. You'll see how head over heel Gwanchang is for Mae, he's obsessed w him.
However, he also has lots of insecurities because Mae isn't easy to fall for anyone and because of the war and politics, they're separated quite often to do missions.
With Mae, it's slower on his side because he's used to being a strategist and has lots of responsibilities on his shoulder. So even when he realizes he does love Gwanchang back, he's afraid to choose him. Because his prophetic vision doesn't change much, he's afraid Gwanchang will continue to turn out to be a tyrant.
So you'll see alot of inner fighting between these 2, Gwanchang afraid of being abandoned by Mae and Mae afraid of betraying his nation/siblings for Gwanchang.
i miss seeing them fucking like i love the slice of life but i miss the smut
