I am at ch 22 or 23 rn and ilay is just a piece of shit. I know that rape in yaoi is common as f but come on. One of the few things we hear about ilay before his actual introduction is how he beats then have sex with any young dude he fancies. The characters and story at this point just seemingly pass over the fact like that is assault and rape. If you are going to add it to the story then acknowledge it. Secondly, based on how the mc didnt want to listen about the gassip about ilay during the camping chapter its pretty obvious the author wants us to feel bad about what ilay is going through when he is causing it. Of course people will want to avenge their loved ones that u have killed or left near deaths door. Like the facility doesn’t really care about ppl dieing obviously but no one was forcing u to do that. To make matters worse this little b had the balls to compromise and not rape the dude mc has a crush on. COMPROMISE? COMPROMISE??? BRO (╬￣皿￣)凸
ok, what has been irritating me about this is how the mc is so fixated on getting revenge on his ex bf. though its fair since he played a part in his brothers death why does he not care about the actual killer? why does it seem the story wants us to ignore or accept it as the mc karma but hate the ex bf because whilst trying to save his own life he placed the killers attention towards the mc brother.
the killer especially had no fair reason to do what he did. though mc used excessive violence especially with threatening the killer’s young kid it doesn’t change the fact the killer chose to take out a debt with his house a collateral. he knew this but killed an innocent person (whether it was the ex bf pr brother that he would eventually stab). the killer is not blameless nor innocent. if the author wanted we could have focused on getting revenge on both the bf or killer and the story would have been just as interesting if not more. it makes no sense

I believe it's because the killer is already in the prison. MC knows he is paying for his crimes. While the other guy is living his life without an ounce of remorse.

I am currently at ch 71 where lee A original company wants him back and thus posing a risk to the overall group. I understand that lee B as well as everyone else was stressed from the situation but I also feel his words and vibes were uncalled for when asking for lee A to express himself. Like, he (lee A) would be more stressed than anyone else right now as its a situation directly involving him which would have a negative impact on the rest. It is perfectly reasonable he might be at a lost for words right now and overwhelmed.
I feel like the author wanted us to see lee A as the one at fault right there with the mc and lee B showing disdain for his reaction but to me it seemed reasonable.
I agree. I don't rlly remember what happened afterwards since rn all is well but I remember feeling bad for Sejin A in that chapter
I second that. Though I do disagree slightly with the author's main focus being to show Lee A's incompetence and that he was at fault.
I feel like the situation also doubled to highlight Lee B's true nature. Like you said, Lee B was openly showing hostility and disdain towards Lee A instead of taking a more empathetic approach like what his normally outgoing and charismatic image would suggest. I mean, it's understandable that he'd be upset when you consider that Lee A's refusal to act immediately could cost them their group, but it feels like Lee B was especially cold during the whole issue(and of course Moondae was a little cold too but that's in character and his life is literally on the line so ╮(￣▽￣)╭).
What I found even more unsettling than his behavior during that agency issue is the time when Lee A collapsed from all the fatigue caused by their busy schedule. Lee B's reaction made it sound like he couldn't care less about Lee A's health so much as he did care about how it could drag the team down. It's pretty clear where his true priorities lay.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that Lee B isn't as friendly as he lets on and the author is dropping hints of this hear and there to emphasize this.
as someone who read the novel (in a week ) i can guarantee you neither lee A or B are bad guys! i won't give spoilers but their situations are delicate and dealt with care (imo) so have a little faith on the author
Ok, lol. I hadn't reached that far(Still haven't) but it's good to know the whole situation had a purpose because in some cases authors tend to create these infuriating scenes in my opinion so to bring across a message or change the narrative even when there is no basis for it.

tbf they personality is opposite of each other plus moondae and big sejin definitely have something to agree with or have same type of personality that's why moondae always relies on big sejin, they definitely did have a character development.
This isnt the first time i have stumbled on a graphic novel that was essentially the author’s kinks in drawing form but reading the sides it made me think about how a codependent relationship like this is very much capable of happening irl. The mc was such a hard working person and to see him waste away into nothing more than a drug addict after being constantly raped is just sad. He is mentally gone ╥﹏╥
