currently it’s this one because to summarize: mc and ml grew up at the same school together as competitive academics rivals and he really resented her for that while she bless her heart tried to be friendly to him but he was a cold ass suddenly to her and left her confused as fuck
they both go their separate ways after that and meet again as adults and eventually mc is now ml’s secretary and ml is fucking pissed about that since he still hugely resents her and even straight up says to her face at one point that he fucking ‘hates’ her
he slowly comes around though to not resent her anymore but rather slowly falls for her and in due time is trying to win her over in various cute stupid ways and is quite a jealous (in a protective and good meaning way!) fucker and overthinks everything because he’s never actually dated before in his life
it’s on a hiatus currently with 82 chapters, but the wait is worth it since the art is extremely gorgeous especially the eyes and both ml and mc are charming characters in their own rights

uh.. this one is essentially sailor moon x yakuza, so expect a lot of gore and violence! mc is handsome (in a unique design and is a person of colour) as hell and a good guy though so don’t worry about him too much
this one well.. mc meets shade (the other main mc, kinda hard to fully explain him since the story does much better) after her parents unexpectedly die in front of her when she’s very young, the thing is nobody can see shade besides a few select individuals so shade after her parents death basically protects her and watches over her for years as a sort of literal in the shadows figure, before uh.. getting really upset for a short awhile when she unexpectedly becomes a magical girl since that means they’re on opposing sides, but regardless they’re still mega besties who would actually die for one another lmao
