Am I the only one who likes the multiple endings? 1. I think it fits really well with the dating sim world idea. And 2. Everyone can get an ending with the character they were rooting for.
Maybe it’s because I’m not that invested in any of the love interests (Though I like Natsuhi the most)
I’m just happy we’re not only getting Hina or Shirousha as the singular ending. Not because they’re both girls but 1. Hina… She and MC both still need time and development. And 2. While MC and Shirousa interacted, I never got any romantic vibes from their interactions, it was just glares and “we’re in the same boat.”
I much this over the alternative.
Heroine is a little annoying but I can understand where she’s coming from. Happy that she eventually came around but it felt incredibly rushed… Demon king is a softy ig?
One star is over-reacting but five stars is giving this way too much credit. I’d personally give it 2, maybe 3 stars as of now… I don’t resonate well with any of the main or background characters. Again, it’s rushed. The sudden marriage announcement and especially the towel/nudity scene just felt forced and uncalled for; she’s just turned 18 and the demon king is what? Idk- in his early 40s in demon years…?
IMO, I feel like this would’ve worked better as a father figure x daughter dynamic, considering the Heroine’s family history and the Demon King’s current way of life, taking care of the village which includes taking care of other, younger children. She could’ve been their big sis… TO BE FAIR, the Heroine and the Demon King’s do NOT have feelings for each other (not right now) so this could end up going in a way I’d prefer, or not that’s possible too.

Is it so hard to write a female character that is not fan-service, a nuisance, or completely 2-dimensional???
14 chapters in we’ve been introduced to 4 female characters. 3 seem to have romantic potential/interest (3RI for short) with MC (all one-sided). And the other, the only one I like so far, is the one who’s least involved with the MC and acts as more of a background character - The influencer/chicken girl.
Visually, they look different enough minus their body types because of course the potential FL must have D-cups or higher and an hourglass figure (sarcastic).
Personality? All of them are clumsy with one additional trait, that’s about it.
Maybe their initial impression of MC differs, but after 1 chapter they’re blushing at the sight of him. Are we not going to talk about how all three of them literally cried for their mommy at the face of danger??? IT’S THE SAME COPY & PASTE SCENARIO. It was funny the first time, now it just feels misogynistic considering the one guy who needed saving didn’t have the same reaction.
It’s a shame because this has potential. It is actually funny and the plot is refreshing, the art is nice too.
Can we PLEASE just write women properly??
