ngl the art made it hard to continue reading at the beginning but I'm glad I finished it
see I was feeling kinda bad for chance and then he raped henry, so I'm so happy he ended up miserable. I do think he's the most well written character in the whole story tho. I believe that even if the wish never happened, once henry moved on from him and started a relationship with lucius, chance would have lost it anyway, there's a reason lucy didn't want to go back to him even after getting her memories back, when they got back together it was because he tried to kill himself but there was no real love between them anymore because the one he loved all along was henry, lucy did not deserve to be stuck in a marriage with a closeted guy, lucius unintentionally saved his sister from that fucker by making that wish. as for the lucius and henry relationship, I would have liked to see more of them before the wish, they looked cute, I didn't like their dynamic during the wish timeline that much, even tho henry was mentally 28 it felt icky to see them together while one was a college student and the other one was in high school

I don't think I have ever seen this "pretending to date to make someone jealous" plot where the fake couple doesn't fall in love, plus they have main couple dynamic already. unless the author makes black hair guy realize he likes her quickly and he acts out fast, I don't think he will have a chance before dahye falls out of love

on a side note, even if ml didn't kiss the sister like people are theorizing (which I doubt it, knowing this author's other works), I don't want dahye to end up with him. he still went dating around while giving her mixed signals, carrying her around like his keychain while keeping other guys away from her to the point she thought she wasn't pretty enough to attract anyone, I bet he already knew she likes him, like come on, it was so obvious. he would have continued that behavior even in college if dahye didn't put an end to their friendship, he is not worth it

this is literally the straight version of hate mate protagonist with a long time unrequited love for their best friend of years until they can't take it anymore and they put some distance then they meet an older guy. if it really is following the same formula, the fl is going to date this blonde guy

I hope they don't meet again too soon. Just like her friend said, she's been living under the ml's shadow, she needs to live her own life and meet other people. she also has an inferiority complex because of her sister and because the only guy she has liked doesn't love her back even though she's very pretty too

Usually I wouldn't give this type of manhwa a chance but with this author there's a 50% chance the FL actually ends up with someone other than the ML and even if she doesn't, she will at least make him suffer before they get together
