a lot of other bl use trauma in such a tacky way but in this you can feel how debilitating it is for the mc and how dealing with his depression is making him impulsive. his feelings for gitae are starting to overflow out of him but due to past trauma he is having a very hard time navigating through it. i feel like i could do more proper analysis on this but i just woke up lol. i'm really liking this and i hope this quality stays all throughout season ending
just a little bit of trivia but ian's full name 하이안 (ha ian) sounds very similar to the word 하얀 (hayan) which means white. it's quite an interesting reference especially since the mc thought he was yoontae's first love before he figured out that it was himself
