not defending jaeyoung entirely but plenty of younger koreans do type without spaces. it's probably much harder to communicate this nuance among english-speaking people but within kr spaces, it's more likely that sangwoo would be viewed kind of extreme for being too uptight about something 70% of the younger population does
also yeah, it's really easy to ignore things like being messy within the house when it comes to fiction but when you're an adult rooming with other adults and they don't know how to take care of their surroundings/don't know how not to act like an inconvenience to others, it gets really frustrating. now triple that emotion and give it to someone who is neurodivergent, i couldn't imagine just how bad sangwoo feels

actually pretty shocked reading the comments and seeing people not like matthew. i thought he was a really compelling character. i think my most favorite part about the last chapters was how he came to realize that his decade long codependency on jin left him an empty husk of a man as he never truly had a true 'aspiration,' per se, he only really waited for jin aimlessly for all those years without an end in sight. but instead of staying stagnant, he went to school abroad, expanded his horizons, and got a better grasp of what he really wanted to do as an artist.
he had always loved art, but it felt like he was only compelled to do it if it meant jin had to look at what he had to create. but the last chapters showed a much happier, more mentally healthy person, him and jin both. it's such a mature, adult response to a trauma taking root. i was also glad that jin stopped him from pulling the trigger on brandon. jaxx is honestly such a good writer apart from being a great artist and this is such a wonderful take on noir, as it also never shied on the rather morbid topics it took.
i dropped this around the chapter 40s because the whole thing was still serializing at the time, but the chapters were getting too heavy that i thought it would be best to sit it out and wait until the story is finished. now years later i'm back, this is one of the greatest bl has to offer, and i've already read hundreds. this story will be staying with me for a long while.
