None of the main 3 characyers are blood related, but the 2 tops are adopted siblings and grew up as siblings. The bottom was taken in by the Barnett Mother and helped care for Aaron after she passed, as the father hated his son after his wife passed.
The red eyed top was adopted into the family to become the de-facto heir to the Barnett family and replace blue eyes, because the heir could only have red eyes but the true hair looked exactly like his mother. During a trip to the mothers grave, theres a car accident and fake heir saves true heirs life but the dad dies, the bottom scrambles to save important documents for the kids to inherit the mansion and fortune, and figuring out how to help them and raise them while he is still a minor himself (probably 16).
The rest of the story after they become of age and the bottom tries to leave is the normal Stockholm syndrome bullshit lol
