This is one of the few BLs that I followed from the very first chapter. I feel kinda empty now that it's ended. It's definitely one of my all time favourites.
And I even like the fact that we didn't get much about their lives outside of the game. The story was about the game, and the game was the only important thing. No over explanation, no drawing it out, just a very well paced story. 5/5
Excellent portrait of the queer community!!!
You don't see that very often in yaoi, but this author has done an amazing job. It's not just straight relationship with an extra penis, these two are actually a gay couple, doing gay couple things and facing gay couples' struggles. Even though I'm not a fan of age gaps, this one isn't bothering me that much.
I mean obviously TJ wasn't the RIGHT choice, but I understand the reason behind it. I don't support it, I just understand. ╥﹏╥
There are so many victims that can't get rid of their attachment to their abuser. It doesn't help that they have shared trauma as well. Even if he COULD move on from TJ to someone else, a baby simpleton wasn't gonna be enough to fill that void. (Sorry Joe, we love you)
Anyway I didn't LOVE the ending, but it was still enjoyable. 4/5
I think the main problem is that ppl are thinking of who is better for Ian instead of who Ian really wants. TJ is never an seen as an abuser to me. The one time he fucked up was breaking Ian's leg unintentionally and indirectly. Even tried to apologize to Ian but Ian stopped him. But he also did his best to keep Ian safe from the very start, as selfish as his intentions are.
All 3 have their issues and are not saint. TJ with his dumbass blond self to unable see that he loves Ian, Ian being wishy washy and also not being true to his heart and outright tell TJ why he wants him, and Jo being selfish ( because stopping Ian from going to TJ during the first fight was pretty much more for himself rather than for Ian ) and obsessive over someone he barely met.
Idk why authors always see throuples as "two predators chasing one prey"
I guess it's my fault for reading this even though I knew this author was... Questionable... I think?
Anyway, 1/5 for me. And I just won't read anything from this creator.
Love gym was the exact reason I mentioned this author is questionable. I don't like their views. They don't understand the queer community, they don't understand body dysmorphia, they have zero insight on eating disorders, and their moral values don't align with mine.
They just draw stuff that they think is kinky without thinking much about it. It's not necessarily wrong, just not my cup of tea.

Awwww NNNGHH I'm not ready to let this manhwa go yeeeettt
