I have read a lot of toxic yaois but I think this tops it all. This is straight up horrible. So horrible that I couldn’t even enjoy the makeout scenes. The fact that Seme brought in the butler to have a SA groupie. He has the rights to be angry cos Uke is a spy brought in but he never once asked Uke why he was doing this. All he does is torture him. Esp the part when Uke found out his mother might have died. If he doesn’t trust him, he could have just assured Uke that he would find the information for him. Instead, Uke is left at home constantly with his thoughts about his mother. Of course he would be suicidal. Of course he doesn’t actually want to die. He wants to know whether his mother is alive.
Could you even stay with someone after they have meticulously planned to share you with others? I don’t think anything Seme could do anything to redeem himself.
Usual plot goes like this: Seme and Uke both like each other, Seme is toxic and Uke accepts the toxicity
Second ML is absolute trash, hated him to the core while reading the Raws. Our poor baby MC, just hope it’s a happy ending

In the novel, the prince takes super super long to find uke. Uke almost died due to the prince’s extensive efforts too. Them getting back together and the prince being as gentle as possible with the uke was one of the best bl novel redemption I enjoyed

I’ve finished reading this, and I’m surprised that it’s not that popular. Actually among all the yandere reads I think this might be the top manipulative yandere. In the modern life he treats Uke well, but that’s also another act he is playing out. He really played the long game to gain the trust of the Uke. However even towards the end, the Uke can’t let go of the past and that scares seme. It’s the “what if he realises that it was me who hurted him?”
Some magic was involved to bind their souls together and seme having to live another century of delusions to make the spell succeed.
If you’re into manipulative, obsessive, crazy yandere then this is for you.

I found the mandarin version, by translating the title. But I think the plot is better understood when you read in your mother tongue. This manga is less about smut and more about the slow burn between the MC and the Yandere ML
