one of the extremely few stories where i am vibing with both the main and second couple equally!!! loving this story so much!!

reading this in a couple of days really highlights how 1) the plot is swiss cheese with the holes, 2) the characters are… dumb? make nonsensical choices? have zero concept of how to make a plan? all of the above?, and 3) the author’s failure with all of the above have made for a terribly unlikable mc AND ml lol

also, i strongly dislike stories where the mc is like, barely a year or two above legal age, and there’s a big enough age gap with the ML for it to be significant

and the author tries their absolute hardest to never let you forget that the mc is childish, immature, doesn’t have a fully developed frontal lobe, etc. like at that point, the dynamic just feels icky and reminds the reader why 30 year olds dating 20 year olds is always gross lol

i’m not a manwha puritan, i don’t mind the actual age gap, it’s just the way it’s written

ngl, i know this was a hell of a curveball, but i legit feel some relief we're not gonna do the whole 'mc leaves in secret bc of abusive father, hides the threats from said abusive father, and abusive father takes advantage and tries to ruin mc's life until ml finally finds out and steps in' deal.

im not sure an outright kidnapping will be better, but lmao at least its not boring???

this was so hilariously cringe it reminds me of the yn/ceo skits told from the bystander pov lol like, imagine a poor bystander just standing there, debating on calling emergency services...

it's really unfortunate the original sherina's death is being treated this way... it's actually making me drop the story.

i feel like the author is being dismissive and likely thinks that, just because maids were ultimately the ones who didn't feed her, it's not REALLY the uncle's fault that the baby died. the constant comparison between him and hela - who was 'ignorant' of what was truly going on in her wizarding tower - evidences this.

but it's not the same, at all. sherina died out of sheer starvation. that is a horrific way to die. the uncle should've been wracked with guilt that he aided in the murder of his niece - not focused on assuaging hela of guilt.

idk. if the author was going to be so dismissive of baby sherina, she should've had a different storyline for the way hela isekai-ed into the baby's body. this genuinely is so frustrating im dropping the entire story.

the age gap iasnt too unreasonable, but it was the truly parental relationship between the kids that made it off :( the whole “i raised you” vibe that kept coming up was just… oof. but beyond that, lovely themes explored, i enjoyed the characters and the realism included in the storytelling. i was def left wanting more!!

i definitely wanted more of the uncle (may that lovely man find romance!!), and maybe a side story with the neighbor!!! i also wanted more of the parents; the bottom’s family just… disappeared, which i understood, but i wanted more reference to WHAT happened.

and i really would’ve enjoyed even a short scene of the top coming out to his parents. it would’ve been lovely!

loved it but UGH this is a rare story i think needed at least another 30 chapters. the resolution from the top saying he wasn’t gay, and then discovering he had feelings for the bottom needed to be explored so much more (and i desperately ache for that angst!!!)
