I literally avoid anything omegaverse like the plague (for almost 10 years mind you). There’s a bunch of reasons but I feel like post will just be stupidly long and boring if I get into it LMAO. Maybe the tropes I hate about it have actually changed and I have no idea either.
But I’m wondering if anyone is out there thinking oh my god how stupid u need to read “__”. Is there something out there u think even a hater would like?
One of the most vanilla & with almost 0 conflict omegaverse out there: https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/koishite_kissshite_kanjaitai/
i personally go feral for alpha x alpha:
define the relationship
Smyrna & Capri
but we have alpha x beta too:
mr beta
oblivious mr.b
Exclusive No-Love Zone
traditional:
Ookami-kun wa kowakunai
Like a Tidal Wave - from Pheromone Shower
Unromantic (actually this is so upside down/reverse )
Kouguu no Omega (very respectful, they wait a lot)
honorable mention: Play After Call (omega tops and also a subverse)
i had some where it was omega x omega but for some reason i cant find them
i get youuu like omegaverse can be so annoying; there's this alpha x alpha manhwa i really like though, you should check it out! it's smutty, and a slowburn in terms of the feelings involved.
it's called "an unsettling scent"
i also recommend "the secretive xx". it's a classic omegaverse manhwa, but the seme is really, and i mean REALLY respectful about the entire omega-alpha phermones thing.
If you don't like omegaverse because of the biologism and gender stereotypes, you might like Takatora-kun to Omegatachi ( https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/takatora_and_the_omegas/). It's a portrayal of patriarchy in an omegaverse society.
I did and I will say the novel is good but respectfully it hasn’t changed my mind on omegaverses just not my cup of tea
Little yap (you can choose not to read)
I’m not saying there aren’t good stories either dash and kiss me if you can r probably my top novels of this year it’s just that when it comes to this trope there’s so many stories with the same plot and when u find one that seems like it’s going to be a good plot they always bring in some stupid shit about roles and add so much shit that ruins the whole thing for me which is why I think a lot of people who prefer to not read them aren’t missing out on much bc there are a tonnnn of stories with good strong plots that don’t have the roles and stuff on it
I’ve recently been reading ‘Hunter wants to live quietly’ and I love it. I’ve also read ‘creating a hidden ending’ but just found it okay. Is there any other similar?
-no guide stuff I can’t stand it
Apart from the 2 you already know, there are these ones:
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/death_delayed_for_a_short_time_because_of_the_will/
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/a_trace_of_the_wonder/
The others I know are all either guideverses or novels without adaptation :/
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/death_delayed_for_a_short_time_because_of_the_will/
And if you're open to esper x guide manhwa's i also have
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/guiding_hazard/
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/open_the_door/
Tbh I haven't read open the door yet. So I can't say if it has dubious consent. But for guiding hazard the guide/seme does reject the esper/uke for "guiding" and when it does finally happen he asks for consent but it's still happening when their not 100% in their right mind. So you can decide if you do or do not want to read it :))
I totally get you, same reason i avoid them too but someone recomended me some when i asked for recs, like hunter wants to live quietly, that dont have assault, torture and whatnot.
This was their reply:
"blood poker, dazzling breath, death delayed for a short time because of the will, approximal guide, guiding hazard, and creating a hidden ending are my favorites. Some of them are guideverse but they dont follow the typical toxic tropes. Especially guiding hazard"
From these i started guiding hazard and it actually had very very consentual and respectful relationships portrayed betwen the MCs.
Mabye you'll find smth you like
Crazy I just read dazzling breath it’s actually really good and doesn’t have the tropes I hate that are almost glamourised? It instead uses them to paint a dystopian society. Very plot focused rather than romance which I love. Maybe I’ll give more a try. I was so pleasantly surprised and the art is gorgeous
I’ve been on this site 10 years and still have no clue how to use it. If not does anyone have any albums dedicated to pretty art
pretty sure you can't search here but on google you can write key words of what you are looking for, for example
https://www.google.com/search?q=mangago+album+pretty+art
It’s like monochrome rumour but I think it’s a gangster who’s in the body of someone with unholy levels of blue eyes and needs to get some contacts
kill the lights maybe?
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/kill_the_lights/
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/sun_kindergarten_classmates/ I just read up to the update of this and the world building and characters are just so fascinating to me. There’s this whole unsettling undertone I love? I don’t like anything with smut or assault but I couldn’t help but carry on reading for the plot.
If anything it reminds me of how unsettling the worlds feel in ‘phantom paradise’ and to a lesser extent ‘on my way to meet mom’ (that one is actually extremely cute though) maybe an even further stretch could be ‘d.gray man’
Does anyone know anything else with just similar weirdness (if I’m even making sense)? Literally any genre
I’ve just finished reading ‘the S classes I’ve raised’ and I love it! (I’ve been putting it off for ages)
There seems to be a type of genre I never give I chance because I can’t stand ‘solo levelling’ despite its high ratings.
Similar to this I also unexpectedly loved ‘omniscient readers viewpoint’.
Is there any other gems im not giving a chance because of my dislike for solo levelling?
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/trash_of_the_count_s_family/
there's a saying that orv, s-classes, and this manwha are the 'holy trinity' of korean webnovels because of the quality of their stories and their similarly self-sacrificial mcs. i'd definitely try it out!!
So like I’m getting a feeling you want recommendations with a system window/action stories, I got you! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧:
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/pick_me_up/
10/10(Game System)(no romance has shown up)
I LOVE THE PLOT!!! USUALLY I DONT REALLY LIKE WHEN THEY ARE TRANSPORTED INTO A GAME BUT THIS IS AMAZING
THE CHARACTERS ARE JUST AMAZING THEIR DEVELOPMENT IS CHEFS KISS!!!!!
THE FIGHTING SCENES AND THE ART I JUST WANT TO KISS WHOEVER THE ARTIST IS BECAUSE DAMN THE CHARACTERS ARE HOT!

(10/10)(System)(did not expect it to be sad)
Honestly didn’t like it the first time I read it to chapter 10 (I don’t know why but it just wasn’t what I was looking for at the time) BUT I read it a second time and my goodness was I missing out
Art is stunning
♡ There is romance but it is not annoying or out of nowhere it is very well developed and fits the plot
I love the MC (he’s so bbg)
About this guy who got a skill to steal skills
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/resurrection_of_the_catastrophic_hero/
10/10 (They worship gods to get powers)
Art is wonderful 10/10
The plot is about this guy who was known as the strongest person but got backstabbed while clearing a tower by one of his allies, they then left him alone in the tower thinking he died while they took the glory, turns out he didn’t die and wants revenge
It’s hilarious but has its serious/sad moments
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/the_only_necromancer/
9.5/10 (Involves a power system)
Art is incredible
Lowkey I got kinda bored in the recent chapters but the characters are funny
The first 30 chapters are the best ones
There is no regression just about this guy who was at his university and suddenly everyone sees a window in front of them telling them to pick a card with a sort of job on it, after that they get attacked by monsters and the whole world is thrown into chaos
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/the_100th_regression_of_the_max_level_player/
10/10
But if you don’t like non of these just skim though my list of action manhwas/mangas:
https://www.mangago.me/home/mangalist/2615422/
recs or lists anyone knows of?
https://www.mangago.me/home/mangalist/286464/
Here's a list but i recommend little mushroom if u haven't read that yet!

Any recommendations for something similar to https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/things_that_deserve_to_die/
I was enjoying it as Ive not really read anything like it before, but then there was just random sexual assault and I couldn’t continue reading. I just really can’t stand anything with that.
