It's like they're giving this project to a complete beginner artist who could draw a bit but never made a manhwa before, hence the bad pacing, the lack of background and people in the background, the inability to convey a situation via "show, dont tell". This is the climax of the story and it feels even more lacking. Just a shame
the pacing is more on the producers/editors. they have a lot of input and it's very unlikely a newer artist would have much say on the script and pace.

I actually love the complexity of their relationship. Jaesung acted like he didn't want any of it but even i can see that he can actually go away whenever he wants, he can stop it and run if he really wants to. He's not too scared or too stupid to stop it, he's letting it happen and eli knows that.
They have this chasing game where they roleplay as the abuser with power and the forced victim, always has been since they were highschoolers. Eli disciplining jaesung awakened something in him, we can see from eli smirking after looking at his face. In recent chapter we can see from Eli's pov that he didn't lie, jaesung really do always look at him with an intense stare, different from the way how he looks at others. It's also revealed that jaesung is looking for corporal punishment/punishment play from his fuck buddies, and eli is most likely into misbehaving brat. In ao3 their tags would be CNC, dubious consent, under negotiated kink, punishment play, forced orgasm, power imbalance, no safeword.
Eli kept his modelling a secret so he can use it when the time is right to fuck up his father, and for whatever reason eli left jaesung alone and abandoned after highschool. Most likely because his family is a threat, he came back because his father is dying but let's be real he didn't need to keep meeting jaesung for that. And that's why jaesung stopped him in the middle of sex, and eli really did stop when jaesung asked for it, he wishes eli would admit he has a feeling for him the same way he has a feeling for eli all this years.

the fact that i actually bought the "victim and abuser" narrative first, though it was very obvious since day one they were both into it and into each other, i have not seen them as more ghan f buddies, but the time where we saw that eli didnt hace any ohotos in his phone (it was where we got a little bit of talking) that made it more obvious, ch29, and their past too(it would def make things more clear when we get it, though i doubt they ever made things official back then). honestly, we dont get enough explanations, its basically only them f-ing and a little bit of talks here and there that you gotta analyze to get what's going on, but to be fair, it has just started.
yessss I feel like some people aren’t getting it because the first scene is so jarring and they wanted the author to spell out the relationship beforehand but it says in the description they’ve had this kind of relationship in the past and now he’s back. I think the author is actually doing a good job of making people read between the lines to figure out what their relationship is.
