not sure if we saw the same tiktoks but those posts I saw didn't really have sites that look similar to bato at all to me. there were many things abt bato that made it different from the other sites, but I think bato clearly differentiating versions/uploaders for single series was something that no other site has been able to implement.
comix has something similar but it still mixes up official version vs fan translation.

Those mangas are mangas that originally posted with one chapter or two and the uploader just took down the chapter to either edit it or retranslate
it depends something they just want to "claim" one bl but they still dont have the chapters ready to upload.. mangago also takes a while to approve the uploads too
