volume 5 “ Kyougoku-ke no Chikai” [The Vow of Kyogoku Family] was published in japanese in 2023 but i assume it’ll be published in english eventually lol. idk how mangaplaza works so idk when it’ll update/when it last updated, but i’ll upload them when it does. but if anyone can & wants to pls scanlate lmao.

put of reading this for forever after stopping midway years ago & this is like genuinely really romantic? idk what i expected & the ending was a bit rushed/finishing the plot got eaten up by sex scenes a bit, but they have great chemistry & it’s maybe the first time i could see myself falling in love in the characters, etc.

the confession was kind of cathartic but still seems unearned lmao. anyways it’s nice that the art was strong again in the end, etc. bc for a while in the middle dan looked insane, the character designs settled down by the end.

iiuc jaehui is just being passive aggressive? by forcing munhak to publicly say that he’s his boyfriend he closes the issue without actually having to acknowledge that they had different ideas of what their relationship was, it’s a petty way to make them definitively boyfriends. it’s self destructive in the end though bc all the smoothed over conflicts will definitely blow up in the end

maybe a timeskip & just running into eachother since they work in the same industry will help lol? i wonder what'll be done next to allow them to get back together w/out removing jaekyoung maturing to be able to let him go & kim dan prioritizing himself for once. A chase arc can't work, and we've already had one. + while he's changed, kim dan probably shouldn't just return since he now realizes jaekyoung genuinely cares for him, etc.

We can all appreciate yandere characters & all the great things about them, but pls do not romanticize them to such a degree to allow it to affect your reality. In this case there must be a firm line between reality and fiction, we can appreciate the fantasy but stay grounded in reality.

ngl the whole dynamic reminds me of a sign of affection but a bit worse (that might not make sense tho). cute enough, but the story's just ok
