his surgeon must have been horrible or like intentionally disfiguring him lmao. he had open heart surgery iiuc & the long prominent vertical scar down the breastbone looks like a sternotomy but they heal pretty well even if still prominent usually—idk why it’s so wide and like mangled on the edges. tbh this bothers me most with how artists draw top surgery, that’s done by a plastic surgeon completely so & they take care to minimize scarring & you’ll never see these jagged scars ppl like to draw unless the surgeon was really bad lol
