...but I found myself not even hard reading this. I guess it's because the main characters have the mentality of six year olds? Idk, man. Plot's stupid, characters're stupid, the art is good, this whole misunderstanding trope is goddamn stupid.
Oh no yeah literally same. I think it had to do with how asahi handled the wrongs that kei did to him where he wud dip into blaming himself and keis actions kind of affirming it and also kei just blatantly going dick crazy and blaming asahi for leaving him when he didnt leave for shit? Like idk some of it wasnt matching up in certain ways where it lowkey glorified the pet slave aspect while completely throwing the initial rape out the window and never rlly acknowledging it just saying oh thats why without apologizing. Idk usually im not too picky on it bjt it felt like it was lowkey saying thr rape was ok when its not,,,? Like the rape itself isnt the issue but just how it was handled and the characters never acknowledged how grave tht wrong was. Idk like it wasnt used properly as a lot point either
Ngl, kinda bummed that Commander Ashiro is relegated to just another damsel in distress. But oh well, typical Japanese manga/anime I suppose.
personally, i don't think she's much of a damsel in distress. considering how strong #9 is, i think every commander would've become weak when face-to-face with him lol. also, she killed off a strong kaiju in a badass way right before she was captured by the bastard, so, she's not totally being relegated!
The misunderstanding trope is just SOOO overused. It's basically Deus Ex Machina at this point. Girl, just talk to him. You KNOW Gojo ain't gonna talk about it, dude's an anxious wreck. God, now we have to wait for AT LEAST 5 months (4 more chapters) of this shite until one of them say something. FUCK. Sorry, just had to rant. About the trope, not the manga.
There was this manhwa I forgot the name of. Basically MC met a guy in his apartment building, and they became temporary boyfriends basically. That's all I remembered without going into the "I think it's like this and that", I'm sorryyyy, if anyone know the name would be appreciated!
It's not Crash Into Me. Okay, I am getting into the "I think this or that" territory. But iirc, MC has either an obsessive bf or ex, and he basically asked the guy he met to be a temporary boyfriend of sorts to drive the obsessive away. Also, it's all colored. Best thing I could recall, sorry if it's not enough.
Art looks great, story sounds wonderful. But then some people said it's Harem. Fuckin hell. What's with these authors man. They make great action adventure stories then spoil it and turn it into a dumpster fire of a shitty romance. Great knowing it beforehand, saved me time, and hopefully, others with the same mindset as me.
Did Cale not have a talk to the Dark Elves that he will bring Mary to the surface with him? I remember Tasha crying when she heard that. Or was I just making this up? Or is it coming next chap?
Probably next chap
it's coming next when it's time to leave
