The manhwa is roughly aligned with chapter 42-43 of the novel. Unless you wish to reread (I personally recommend doing this), start there for continuation purposes.

oh but I don’t know which chapter in the novel you would pick up from here on tho T.T, personally I’d just read it from the start in case the pacing and information given is different (kinda like SIASSW leaves out a lot of info that the novel includes from the beginning and gets to it later so you have to read the novel from the start to not be lost but idk if it’s the same for this lol)

Honestly, I can’t remember atp but I think a few fans are mixed up between black and red. Just praying it was black so that it makes my theory plausible. Otherwise, ima cry cause that means it’s probably hinting that this will become a love triangle.

I read the raws and 98 is the last main story chapter labeled with “The End”… I don’t know Korean so I don’t know if it said there would be side chapters but guys, it’s near… I’m not ready yet!
The main story ended at chapter 98 but in the author’s note updated last week, the artist said she’ll draw side story but it’ll take time as she wants to draw other projects first

If this manhwa doesn’t pick up the pace (I don’t really want it to but…) then it’ll probably be like 120+ chapters before the monster comes out…
The novel for this is like 10 chapters ahead of the manhwa in terms of chapter number (ex: manhwa chapter 85 = novel chapter 95). The monster in Yoojin’s chest makes his first appearance around chapter 271-272 of the novel… so yea… it’s gonna be a while.
