I’ve been thinking about this since the first chapter but what if Mori isn’t fully human? Although he is shown to be “feral” and that may be the reason, but in the first chapter, he appears with bright green eyes and sharp teeth. Before you say it was the light, that was a bright as heck green! Black does not normally do that when you shine a light on it, not even a strong one. Mori’s pupils also have a white slit through them but that could just be a light glare. Once he reappears in Salam, his eyes are black with no slit and his teeth don’t seem to be as sharp. These details plus some of his actions and stuff since then makes me wonder if there is more to his species than meets the eye.
Art at the start of the story was gorgeous but as time went on quality decreased (still wasn’t bad honestly but some of the proportions were off), and now I’ve noticed that it has finally improved and evened out again. They kept the less detailed style (study the art in the 80+ chapters to the first chapter to notice it) but improved the proportions and I’m honestly fine with that because BL art can be so iffy sometimes, ruining a story. Also, finally, I’ve known he was ML for a while but I’m happy it’s finally been cemented in the manhwa.

Never read Trace and never plan to so I shall be treating this story like it is completely separate so that Trace does not taint my opinion. I enjoy watching/reading about Dan and find the people kills deserve it. I’m just glad he isn’t real and I will never meet him in person.
