So I am sick and tired of all the abusive behaviours and relationships I see in manga/manwha. For me, these types of relationships should never be idealised, where one part is extremely jealous, forceful or manipulative. Actually, no one should idealise these types of relationships, they are unhealthy and dangerous and I hope no one actually wants to be in those types of relationships, seriously for your own sake never believe that it is okay when someone is forceful or extremely jealous.
Be healthy and happy out there, you deserve it, you really do.

word. Killing Stalking was fantastic in every way, but I'm so tired of people romantizing their "relationship". Even the author said it's not romance

I really liked the artstyle and the plot was fantastic in my opinion. But it contains gore and very abusive behaviour.

Yes! I liked that manga from the beginning but that was from a perspective of toxicity and sadness, but when I saw the comments I was flabbergasted.

So I've realized that a lot of yaoi has the uke acting like he doesn't want sex. And a lot of times it seems like their first time doing it is rape. This really puts me off. I don't know if It is just me because i was previously assaulted. But do any of you ever feel like it becomes too much?

    Anonymous July 13, 2016 4:11 pm

Sometimes I feel like consent is literally not a thing in yaoi, and I hate it so much!!! Whenever I find a yaoi where the seme/uke actually consents I literally jump up and celebrate even though it should be normal ;(

    Anonymous July 13, 2016 4:32 pm

It's even worse in the yaoi games. I can only name like two yaoi games where it's fully consensual. As in no rape whatsoever. That's kind of sad. Meanwhile otome and galge games get a full array of variations from dark stuff to happy stuff. It's not fair.

    YaoiManga101 July 13, 2016 4:45 pm

I'm not in the position to say anything because I've never been raped or assaulted before, but for me, I'm not phased by rape in yaoi. I think, since yaoi isn't real, the rape doesn't bother me at all.

    rawr ;3 July 13, 2016 5:08 pm

im an innocent passerby who just want sex in yaoi manga

    Lumiere July 13, 2016 5:11 pm

i kinda agree, and i also feel like theres no real reason to get so worked up on it BECAUSE its fake and its a thing sorta like to a fulfill fantasy or something i guess?? i mean i guess it does happen in real life but... idk man

can someone recommend a romance josei where the female lead is really strong and has a dark or criminal past

KawaiiKiller March 6, 2016 5:40 pm

Can someone recommend a really sweet yaoi. It would be really awesome if it has some emotional problems that you can relate to. Like there will be some serious problems between them and not just one of them thinking that the other one is unfaithful but then it's just a sibling or something.

Hey guys, do you have any good advice?

I am going on a trip to Japan in a couple of month and since I know that Japan probably is not like in the manga's I would love if some of you have some good advise for their customs, how to act, things I should notice or take in mind before going, etc.

    Lemon January 10, 2016 1:58 pm

Here is a site of things you should not do: http://thoughtcatalog.com/makiko-itoh/2014/06/15-things-you-should-absolutely-avoid-doing-when-you-visit-japan/

But you can ex. Look at Youtube to get tips of what you Should think of before going there, and there are some really good videos made by people that live in or have vistit Japan.

So my sugestion is that you look more into it on maybe on the internet and resurce of what you have to do before going there.
Maybe you can make a list of things you have to avoid and things you need to thing of before going there.

    Mental Nails January 10, 2016 3:20 pm

    That's really good. ^^^

For good things to do, one of the points in that list is to see what other folks are doing. That's REALLY good advice. Also, if you're going and are staying with a host family put yourself in their care and they'll show you all of the good stuff they can. The Japanese, particularly those who are interested in cultural exchange (and many of them are) will always be happy to take you places and show you things.

Also, GOOD FOR YOU for realizing that (duh.) it's more than just a prettily drawn world. Be open to trying things, take your social cues from others, be willing to try new things, be grateful and gracious, and you'll be fine. :)

    I Thot You Was a Toad January 10, 2016 3:58 pm

There are some excellent advice listicles which cover fundamental etiquette and customs all over the web. Just google them and choose the ones you find the most helpful.

It isn't always helpful to "do what others are doing", though, because somebody can take (small) liberties and show an informality to their favourite "Baasan" (and don't you ever call her that) that will leave strangers being treated to a very cold shoulder. Unless you're being led around in a tour, learn the customary polite forms of speech.

    LallaLa January 10, 2016 5:33 pm

I used to live there, so the advice I can give you is to learn basic japanese (just "where is this" or "how do I read this") since most of the people doesn't speak english. They are very polite and nice, so as soon as they realize you are a foreigner some of them might even invite you for dinner (it used to happen to me) mostly old ladies. And if by all means you don't understand how to eat in some places or if you happen to go to an onsen (those hot springs) just ask how to do it. They will help you.
And if you can, I would advise you to go to Miyagi-ken, it's beautiful and my hometown ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Though now I (unfortunately for me, but nothing against brazil) live in Brazil

Hey guys I have a question. I wanted to read sekaiichi hatsukoi the novel, and I started with Onodera Ritsu no Baai. I kind of just startet one of the old chapters and suddenly it said they spend three years apart or something, something that wasn't in the manga .
My question is, is there a difference between the novel and the Manga?

    kodcha November 28, 2015 9:43 am

umm i think there is a diffrence? I'm really not sure....

    MrsHatake November 28, 2015 11:30 am

isn't there novel about chiaki and hatori not about onodera and takano?

    lalala November 28, 2015 12:23 pm

Talvez sean se refieran a su edad ritsu estaba en primer año de secundaria y tacano en tercero

Can someone recommend a shoju with a tomboy female lead and mature art style. The girl should not be all innocent and cute. She doesn't necessarily have to be a tomboy just not the innocent and cute type.
I'm kind of thinking about something along the lines of NANA with the rock Nana.
Happy ending is required :3

Read josei lol (although I can't account for ALL of them)

http://www.mangago.me/home/mangalist/72079/?filter=&page=1 see my list from 1 - 56. Save for these guys:

    4. Clear Up After Rain
    7. Bokura no Kiseki
    14. Himegoto - Juukyuusai no Seifuku
    15. AFO Guard
    16. Tomodachi no Hanashi
    17. Oujitachi wa Izonsuru
    18. Taiyou no Ie
    19. Orange
    34. Hakuji
    36. I'm Currently Living with a Bear
    41. Moe Kare
    42. Strobe Edge
    48. Aishiteruze Baby
    55. Hajimari no Niina

^^^ those are either not romance or has a rather innocent heroine (by my definition). But ofc, the characters and plot still has some great depth since it's still one of my favorites. So do check them if you have the time (:

KawaiiKiller August 6, 2015 5:55 pm

I'm lookig for a yaoi where the uke is gay and works with this guy that he think is hot(seme). The seme is seen an intimidating and hardworking guy. One day the seme catches the uke kissing some other guy in an ally and then the seme forces himself on the uke when he gets stessed at work

KawaiiKiller July 15, 2015 7:02 pm

I'm looking for a manga(I think) it's yaoi(I think). I don't remember much except the Seme was in love with the uke. The uke has a cute little sister in middle school. There's a rumor that the seme is dating the little sister and the uke kind of goes along with the rumor when some girls ask him if it's true. The seme get's really mad, and I don't really remember much from here.

can anyone tell me which manga?
