I don’t have a preference so I’m coming from an unbiased pov. But this chapter confirmed it for me Ran is crazy about Kaya in her own way. This time we can’t blame him. She chose to dedicate herself to Kaya. Everything was her choice. Don’t blame Kaya for this. He literally removed himself from the situation and she brought him back and dumped Nasu for him. Remember that.
well hes self distructing so ran chose to break up with nasu ..
and nasu knows and said himself that ran would not smile again because of kaya ..
so i think from that on he already knows that he lost .. but oh well what is manga if theres no love triangle and angst
i just hope kaya would heal and be happy ..
RIGHT like that's her decision how is it Kaya's fault. Kaya isn't right in the head so if you allow him to do what he wants without setting boundaries, you reap what you sow. She can't even have a conversation talking about boundaries, she just lets it happen and it infuriates me. Like why are people blaming Kaya for Ran's decisions? She says she won't leave as a sister but what she's doing is clearly more than what a sister should be doing. Atleast make it clear that you just want to remain as siblings.
true !! kaya is like a kid because he literally is a kid .. no one teaches him how to properly process his feelings without making a pervy move because thats how everyone treats him .. and it hurts me that they always blame kaya for whats happening .. like girl learn how to communicate .. because kaya cant do that .. so she has to do it ..
I hope her father does not get a redemption arc. I would find it refreshing to have him just stay an asshole and she leaves with her man and gives her dad the middle finger. It’s too common an arc in anime and manga and he does not deserve to have them groveling to him and trying to prove anything. Not when he’s treating her like a commodity.
They both changed a lot. Here Mo is complimenting He Tian and showing concern over being late not because he’s scared of him but because he’s genuinely concerned for leaving He Tian waiting. He even checks to see if he ate anything. Then on He Tian’s side he’s sulky and upset but he’s not being scary and forceful. He’s just pouting. What started out badly became much better. This feels like a solid enemies to lovers story.
I’m just wondering what the author is aiming for with this. When Kaya does these things to her she doesn’t look angry, scared, or horrified. She just passively says stop while blushing. Her reactions are weird. I can’t tell if it’s intentional and the author is planning something or if it’s bad writing.
I felt sorry for Makino’s friend Yuki. I kind of wish she could have properly moved on from Sojiro and ended up with someone. I’m at that chapter 230 where she says she’ll warm him up and they sleep together. This is right after saying he doesn’t think he could love her that. She helped him with his childhood friend situation and is going all out for him and that’s admirable. But her still loving him while it’s impossible for her just feels so sad.

From what I read of this the mc seems genuinely twisted and unhinged. I don’t think the “second male lead” (if you can call him that/seems more like a fwb) can keep up with her and despite what he says he genuinely does seem afraid of her after he finds out what she’s doing. He’s not dancing the same wavelength as her. All this to say is he probably won’t be her boy toy in the end. He’s too “normie” and fratbro-ish. And yes what she has with her “stepdad” is extremely bizarre but can’t say the title didn’t warn us.
Hoping the second ml will come around I need them to fight for her
…
If he does he’ll have to accept being her bottom/sub.
