If this is an adaptation, how much better is the novel? Rut Partner manhwa feels like it's just skimming through the plot points, and this feels similar.
I'm just, baffled how this is going, and I'm only at chapter 12
>Fall for pheromones without talking to the man
>He just proposes sex out of nowhere and MC goes along
>ML consistent with his douchebag behaviour and leaves a note as part of the one night stand
>Why did the MC fall for this guy again?
>Lotto money conveniently comes so no monetary hardship
>falling out with parents just to be rekindled within the same paragraph
- I'll let what appears to be unstable pheromones slide for now, because maybe the sudden child's father's appearance is that's messing it up after assuming years of suppressant meds.
>Kid follows stranger (biological aunt, but he doesn't know that) because "your dad said you're staying with me tonight"
>no follow up on stranger danger

Kind of disappointing to see even official translations mixing up the pronouns.
In Ch 2 when Theo was forced on his knees, "I believed he was taking his anger out on me instead of his father. Because my face resembled my father's." while technically correct, it's awkward.
Also in Chapter 2, when young Theo sees his mother in the garden "Your mother's calling." This is just plain wrong.
It’s a nice reminder to me that official translation isn’t always better
