I've been seeing a lot of people on twitter saying that this season sucks and that it's completely different from the others.
Is it deadass that badd??? If so whyyyy, what's happeningg?? I've been holding off on reading it bc of all the comments, kinda just want to pretend it doesn't exist LMAO
I dnt think itās ābadā per se objectively speaking I believe this seasons story is a bit more twisted than what the readers are use to. I think the twist in this season came as a shock especially because we believed the story ended on such a wholesome note for a long period of time. So seeing all this treachery off the bat got ppl pissed.
Yes it is. Itās something Shay should have either happened way earlier before the end, or just been its own story with new characters. Author was just playing of the success of their work and devotion of fans to screw us over (āÆĀ°Š Ā°)āÆā§ā§
Itās terrible, and not because of the genre change but because of how itās playing out. I donāt recall any foreshadowing of dark themes to come before this season, the first 4 seasons are as heartfelt as it can get! Shortly after this season starts though, angst abruptly comes into play, catching us all off-guard. Then, how itās introduced is a problem for a younger, more fragile relationship, and quite frankly makes no sense at this point of their relationship. Where we left off, they shouldāve easily communicated and made a plan together or with freaking SOMEONE, but thatās not even close to what happened. The kind of plot thatās happening shouldāve been in previous seasons, or not at all. And personally, all these dark themes are not even original, Iāve seen them play out in so many other sub-par stories that itās just boring for me. What made this story stand out in the previous 4 seasons is completely absent in this new season, and itās out of love (and spite) for the previous 4 seasons that Iām still even reading thisā¦
I dnt think itās all that bad because a good story keeps you engaged and even though yāall are hollering that itās terrible it doesnāt stop you from reading it every week now does it? .. just saying
