I just finished this all in one sitting because I couldn't stop. I'm starting to understand why people are split on this being a terrible story and a very moving one. It's terrible in the way that the characters are introduced to each other and form their initial connection. I initially hated the way that the two started their relationship and I still do. They're both toxic people but in different ways, especially Cirrus. There's a lack of communication in their relationship that can really only be explained by age, but you can see the difference in their character arcs as the story progresses.
If you want a typical enemies to lovers romance, where they simply bicker instead of actually being enemies, then this is not the story for you. But if you are willing to read about how two, very broken people become better together, you should definitely give this story a try.
That being said, I have rated this story 5 stars and will be putting it in my list, but I will never read it again because this story made my head and heart hurt.

Im reading the comments and some of it is so funny icant personally i love the art and im sticking around cause i love kim dan, but its also not illegal to hate jaekyung lol. Main characters are allowed to be hated and some are even written to be bad people. What really matters is how the author chooses to portray and develop their character, and even then, the author has no responsibility to make jaekyung a better person either.
To conclude, i am a jaekyung hater who wishes the best for kim dan, but if jaekyung becomes a better person i will be all for it.
I really hope that in this story jaekyung gets nicer but Kim doesn’t like him in that way and finds someone way better like patato and a jaekyung gets extremely mad and jealous

This story is amazing! In settings like this, it’s easy for the main characters to get so warped and twisted that they become unlikeable, but I am is so lovely and sweet. I wish he was real because I’d want to be friends irl. The growth of Raymond was also really realistic and the pacing was done so well, Raymond’s love for Ian over time was portrayed so realistically. Also we Stan Nicholas. He’s such a good guy!
