They do look alittle strange, with artifacts here and there. But could also be a real photo which they then applied filters to to stylise it, except it wasnt done very well here. This is pretty common in alot of comics, but who knows, could also be ai...

i fear it’s going to be harder to find the raws for this series since it’s uploaded on n@ver </3, which is much stricter and more regulated than other reading platforms. the only access international readers really have is through its official release on t@ppytoon (which is likely where the uploader is sourcing the chapters from).
