Sorry in advance; seems like I can’t post links. I’ll try posting them in my reply.

I found some interesting tidbits while scouring the internet (had to use the wayback machine way too often cause the author’s naver and twitter posts were all deleted; get a life me ;;-;;):

- Seungtaek graduates law school and becomes a military judge in the future
- Seungtaek can play the piano but has a poor sense of aesthetics
- If there’s a musical evaluation for class: Vice President has a good singing voice, Seunghee’s voice is quiet so the teacher always tells him to sing louder, Seungtaek just sings as the teacher tells him to so he doesn’t ruin it, Soohyuk sings casually, and Kyubin can’t hold back his laughter and starts giggling as he sings
- Kyubin makes a cameo in S to A
- Unlike Kyubin (solo since birth), Seungtaek dated a girl for one week in elementary school (can you even consider that dating?)
- Kyubin and Seungtaek are each other’s first love
- Kyubin always imagines his daily life living with Seungtaek
- Seungtaek stays a Fancy fan but Kyubin no longer follows her
- Seungtaek and Kyubin both like soccer but root for different teams. When they watched soccer together, they get into fights. So now, they don’t watch soccer matches together anymore
- Only Seungtaek can eat spicy food well while the rest of the main cast can’t handle spice
- Both Inbeom and Soohyuk smoke in high school, while Seungtaek starts smoking in college (the other two leads don’t smoke)
- After finding out that Seunghee dislikes the smell of cigarettes, when they start officially dating, Soohyuk quits smoking. For the rest of his life, Seunghee never knew Soohyuk smoked
- Seunghee’s ears aren’t pierced
- Seunghee may or may not have debuted as an idol (up for interpretation) (but the author wrote on their naver post that if Seunghee were to go on Produce, he would initially gain popularity due to his looks but because he’s always quiet and lack screen time, he gets eliminated from the preliminaries; there was an AU (couldn’t find link) on twitter of Idol Seunghee - doesn’t smile much but listens well - and jealous Soohyuk)
- Of the main characters, Soohyuk gets jealous the most
- Seunghee likes cats while the other four leads like dogs

Kyubin’s friend group at Karaoke and Restaurant settings:
- Kyubin sings hip hop at karaoke bars but his friends always press stop after the first verse. Soohyuk will sing a ballad and then shake the tambourine for an hr
- At BBQ, Kyubin is surprisingly the type to step forward and grill the meat while Soohyuk is the type to refill the vegetable and side dishes
- Neither Kyubin nor Soohyuk have much of a sense of belonging to the group that they hang out with but they have a lot of fun together

- Y’all probably already know the existence of the author’s dillyhub account. Apparently these are the stories: 10 years later r19 scene of SooSeung, what happened to KyuTaek at the sports festival (according to comments, Taek was proactive while Kyu was shy) and the misters side story (Incomplete Combustion) but these content are either deleted (most likely) or age restricted so you have to send proof of age (is it worth it though? prob not and i don’t think it would add much to the story anyway)

- And lastly, I wanna make a mini Soohyuk appreciation post cause I feel bad for doubting him after reading his POV. He is so bbygirl-coded. Like how his heart was beating so fast despite trying to look calm at the movies. Or when he didn’t look at Sunghee in the karaoke room bc he was nervous and didn’t want to show it. Or how he’s always aloof around everyone else but is always clings to Seunghee and only shows him kindness. Or when he is a chronic oversleeper but wakes up before Seunghee to make breakfast. Oh and that scene with his dad when he tells him he also knows what it feels like to fall hard for someone at first sight ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

beyblade asked a question

I was reading The Third Ending yesterday because I was reminded of a scene. But, turns out, after rereading it, that one scene wasn’t even from this manhwa.

I really thought it came from The Third Ending because the two characters in the scene looked like the MCs from Hello Again, Chobom’s other work.

Context: MC’s office buddy, who has a cute/handsome appearance (similar to Heemin from Hello Again) talks to his coworkers and MC about his lover of 8-14 years(?). Maybe they dated since High School or college? I think the office buddy sometimes gives MC love advice and sits in the cubicle adjacent to MC. I remember comments saying how he’s too pretty to be just a side character.

Scene: MC and coworkers get off work. The office buddy sees his lover and runs to him. To everyone’s surprise, his lover is a guy. Or maybe no one was surprised and it was just the MC and the readers that realize his office buddy was gay. The lover also looks similar to Seonwoo (a bit on the plainer side, green/grey/pale hair). They walk out hand in hand.

It’s prob a bit vague, but I’m just hoping someone knows what I’m talking about~

I was rereading this manhwa, but this time reading the official version instead, which doesn’t include the twitter extras and end credit chibi scenes. Here’s the list of chapters that includes those if anyone is also planning to read the officials but don’t want to miss out on those scenes:

9.5, 10.5, 11.5, 12.5, 13-15, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24-26, 28, 29, 29.5 (you should read Hello Again before reading 29.5 if you don’t want spoilers), 30, 34, 35, Season 1 Afterword, notice, 36-38, 40, 41-43, 45, 50, 50.1, 51, 67.5, twitter extras 1&2 (after ch 69 or side story 1 part 2)

I recommend having one tab with the officials and another with the fan translation so it’s easier to navigate between the two.

Hello everyone, I am 히눈. I sincerely thank you for accompanying "Minority" to the end. It has been a year and a half since the serialization began. I still remember that when I wrote the postscript of the first season, I added a Q&A session to increase the fun. However, due to the deadline for serialization, I regret that I was unable to prepare separately. Therefore, this postscript will mainly share with you my thoughts and feelings during the serialization period and some congratulatory pictures, (even if you don’t read it, it’s not a big problem)

My debut work "Cream Boy" is a work with a relatively relaxed and lovely atmosphere. In comparison, the beginning of "Minority" is lingering with a dark and melancholy atmosphere. In fact, it has always been my dream to create a work of this style, so during the serialization period... I really enjoyed it very much. It can be said that... I was full of enthusiasm and extremely happy

Although the beginning of this work is relatively gloomy and dark, the ending is a happy ending. Many authors should like this ending method very much, but for readers who prefer the style of the first half, it should leave a lot of regrets

In fact, in my earliest conception, the two separated in high school and met again by chance during college, and everything would end at that moment. It is expected to be a semi-open ending that is not BE

But as the series unfolds, the story of Hee Chan and Jin Hyuk gradually becomes concrete. I have invested deep feelings in the characters and gradually immersed in them... So I think that no matter what, I must give them a warm and happy ending

I can't help but think, if we can't be happy, then what's the point of all the suffering we've endured? The two will eventually meet and grow together, not deliberately avoiding happiness, accepting everything calmly... This is also the only way for minors to grow into adults

As you all know, this story describes how two people whose hearts are twisted and broken meet, know each other, and fall in love, and step by step learn what is strong and weak, and finally find the meaning of growth

In my teenage years... I was as dark and depressed as Hee Chan and Jin Hyuk. Because I was already familiar with being deeply trapped in misfortune, I always avoided the path to happiness. I once found it difficult to accept the fact that I could become happy. After all, wanting to be happy is also a courageous thing. And I think that if you want to get this courage, you must first face your own weakness and find the meaning of growth. Only when you become strong first can you accept happiness calmly. I want to express this to everyone through the two protagonists. I sincerely hope that everyone can truly feel everything I want to convey

During the serialization period, I received many comments from readers. I heard that many readers cried because of the story of the two protagonists... I feel sad for everyone, but I also feel a subtle sense of comfort in my heart because reading works is to resonate with each other, right? (This is my personal opinion) Because everyone empathizes with the sadness of Hee Chan and Jin Hyuk, then have I also comforted the sadness hidden deep in the hearts of readers, hehe

I have also received a lot of comfort from everyone. Since I started working as a full-time online comic writer, I often feel lonely because I don’t meet others often and need to work alone. Sometimes it’s really hard to stick to it

However, thanks to the readers who deeply resonated with Hee Chan and Jin Hyuk, I was able to persevere to the end. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I plan to take a 1-month break and return with a side story

Finally, here are the congratulatory pictures sent by dear friends

beyblade asked a question

I only remember the first chapter. The villainess is at the engagement/annulment party. She slaps the heroine and then convinces the heroine to separate from the prince by saying she will save her from her (Heroine) family. The heroine pursued the prince because her family threatened her mother’s livelihood (or something like that). She then slaps the prince and tells him to marry her and that only she is fit to be his fiancée. The prince is moved and falls in love?? And they’re lovey dovey until the next chapter when she almost gets assassinated on her wedding day?? If anyone knows? Thx

beyblade created a topic of PASSION

I think my initial comment got deleted cause it included a link (What’s the Filipino word for rock?). A user (Rose_flags) commented the hidden details in chapter 92 and it really made me view Ilay in a slightly different light. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still irredeemable. Their commentary also increased my hatred of a certain character.

I’ll just summarize what they noticed:
- Tay was w/o a shirt during call w/ uncle but later when Ilay is staring at a sleeping Tay, Tay was wearing a T-shirt (meaning Ilay was there when Tay made that call to his uncle)
- Tay’s clothes when sleeping are oversized; these are Ilay’s clothes. Another way for Ilay to possess Tay. But when Tay gets up, he changes into his own clothes; he couldn’t accept wearing Ilay’s clothes
- There is bandage on Tay’s forehead before the act. The bandage comes off during the act (chapter 91). And when Tay is asleep, there’s a new bandage, but he never realized it. If Tay did notice, he would have ripped it off like he took off Ilay’s clothes
- What do all these details mean?
Ilay saw Tay crying and calling his uncle, but didn’t try to stop him. Instead, he carefully put a new bandage on Tay’s forehead, changed the sheets, and cleaned him up. These are all acts to prove that Tay is his. Since Tay is his, he can wear Ilay’s clothes and eat Ilay’s food (breakfast chicken)

Ilay staring at Tay on the bed is for two reasons:

1. He’s relieved that he has formed a bond with Tay, even if it’s by brute force. He saw that Tay doesn’t hate that POS uncle who betrayed him and laughed off his pleading phone call because he is family. So now Ilay thinks he also has a chance.

2. He thinks it’s unfair that Tae wants to hold onto the bonds he made with his f*cking psychopathic uncle who laughs at him and his brother who never makes Tay’s life lucky, but can’t accept someone who actually wants him and would run across the world to find/capture him.

But since Ilay is aware of how BS his logic is, he keeps his needier and melancholic actions subtle so that Tay doesn’t notice them.

Also, this user commented that Tay is quick to adapt as a survival mechanism, so he buries heavier negative emotions that come out as sleep talking/sleep walking (like his call to his uncle, or when he was wronged as a kid)

Remember how Heechan was physically assaulted by the teacher for recking his car and missing textbooks? The teacher hit Heechan so hard to the point of bleeding (although that was partly manipulated by Heechan). Minjae was there the whole time, saw everything that happened, but only stepped in at the end when he knew things will work in his favor. Now, fast-forward —> a similar-ish situation where Andy and Heechan are arguing outside the hotel suite. At this point we know Minjae is already in love with Heechan. Do y’all think Minjae was eavesdropping on the whole conversation and found out about the sex tape? He only decided to step in when Heechan got hit. Maybe he wants Heechan to feel jealousy and sexual attraction towards men, specifically him? In the novel, there was a conversation before they saw drunk Andy where Heechan suggests that Minjae plays with a pink dildo to scare off Andy. Minjae says that doing so will only intensify Andy’s pursuit because if the person you like gets excited in front of you, wouldn’t you get excited too. and unlike Heechan who is dense af, Minjae can actually read people. So, he would have noticed the change in Heechan after he brought Andy back to his villa. that’s my theory.

hi guys, does the non-con in ch. 25 and Hyowon’s manipulation ever get addressed or does the author gloss over this? thx

beyblade created a topic of Paid(Fujoking)

i think the fact that he’s getting better at sudoku, gained admissions to a competitive graduate program, and wanted to go to the sea in winter means that he’s slowly gaining his memories back. but either way, the big idea is that even with memory loss, Heejae never changed, and Taekyung falling for him again is proof of that… which leads to me to my suspicion that younger Heejae was also an idiot, but was able to masked it better b/c of his high IQ

I feel bad for saying this, but I’m glad they left Jiwook/Joohoon’s ending vague. Even if he was punished, Joohoon prob won’t show any signs of remorse or guilt. He’s a villain to the bones. On the other hand, Jiwook will have to live the rest of his life in fear because of the recorder (though he doesn’t know it is discarded) and Joohoon. I’m not saying Jiwook doesn’t deserve punishment, but I can’t imagine the hellhole he will experience now that he can’t escape Joohoon. This dude literately beat someone unconscious because they tried to see the photo in his wallet, and he wasn’t even that attached to the photo (though that’s debatable). He decided last minute to have people do unspeakable acts to Siwon because he thought Siwon was precious to Jiwook. Once his interest in Jiwook dies, whatever’s left is going to be a whole slew of trauma to recover from. Ugh I wanna throw up

i’m at ch. 32 now, and i’m already losing interest. but everyone else in the comments is saying that the story is good. i don’t mind a little spoiler, so convince me why i shouldn’t drop this.

my main grip is that the way they fall in love is too superficial. unless there’s a flashback showing that ML was already in love with MC before his personality change or even chapters from ML’s POV, i don’t understand why just meeting him a few times would lead to ML falling in love. there are other issues, but i can just roll my eyes and continue reading.

beyblade created a topic of Mr. 100% Perfect

Woo-in is just too darn understanding. It makes me cry so much for him. I always considered being quick-witted his strength. But sometimes it feels more like a burden, with how he was able to realize Jun’s feelings early on, how he left his family once he became of age, and how he was able to forgive Suk Yun easily in ch. 95.

Woo-in has abandonment issues and, to be honest, is kind of a people pleaser due to his childhood upbringing. He doesn’t see Suk Yun’s actions in ch. 88 as r*ape because he understands that Suk Yun will not hurt him. He probably just thinks of it as an out of character rough sex. Suk Yun has separation anxiety and abandonment issues too, and his way of reassuring himself is via bite marks and physical affection… like a form of possessiveness. And Woo-in understands that Suk Yun is bad at communicating because he was brought up in an environment where he couldn’t verbally express his wants and desires to others.

I understand the nuances in their relationship, and why this isn’t considered r*pe. But the issue is, it feels almost like a cop-out from the author. I would rather have a complex and uncomfortable conversation between the two than a “i didn’t think it was r*pe and therefore it isn’t.” I still love this story, but I guess headcanon-wise, they eventually talk about this issue once they get more into BDSM (that’s what the side story was hinting at, right?)

Anyone know if the updated manuscript for the Korean version made any changes on Dowon’s fate?

beyblade created a topic of That Summer (kim Hyun)

It’s been a long time since I last read this manhwa on Tumblr. If I find the link, I’ll post it here.

So if I remember correctly, Yuwon heads to California, encounters his first love and decides to pursue him. Back when he was a kid, his crush, a high schooler, gave him some advice (forgot what he said, but I think it was either about being comfortable in your own skin or how to be popular). (side note: his crush is so freaking cool. I remembered the moment he was introduced, I wanted to see more of his character. Imagine my surprise when they reunited).

Now back in Korea, Heebum and Yuwon are at opposite crosswalks of the street but they don’t see each other, implying that they are no longer a part of each other’s life. Yuwon talks with his crush on the phone, revealing that he succeeded in his pursuit. Later he comes out to his friends. They laugh and cry. Heebum heads to a college campus to meet Jumi. He asks her out and they start dating. I think his father no longer interferes in his affairs now.

Overall, I remembered being very satisfied with the story. Though it was a bit tedious going back and forth between the raw and the written translation.

beyblade created a topic of Aren't You My Type

saw another comment say that Hyesung (the omega friend) got jealous of Geon’s closeness with Hyundal, and i’m all for it. i think it happens around ch. 25(?). it’s refreshing to see a jealous friend who is jealous because u are growing distant and not because they’re secretly in love with u. i don’t need a love triangle! he seems like a great friend, so i hope they resolve their issues and stay friends.
