What a chapter! I absolutely love the direction the manhwa is taking. Instead of turning a moment like this into something melodramatic filled with misunderstandings, the characters choose to talk and open up about their vulnerabilities to one another. It’s so heartwarming to see their dynamic progress in such a friendly, close way.
On the other hand, it makes me laugh how Jaeyi tries to convince himself he’s acting this way out of pity, when it’s obvious he’s attracted to Ideum—and not just sexually. One thing I like about Ideum is that, despite being naive and somewhat innocent, the author doesn't portray him as "pure"—meaning, not just some inexperienced virgin who doesn't even know where his prostate is. He’s actually quite horny; he knows exactly what he likes and wants to experiment and connect intimately with someone, even if he doesn't know how to give or receive love, since it's something he's never experienced. If the mere depiction of evil tempts you to imitate it, then you should rethink your own values; perhaps your morality relies entirely on a fiction to be shaped (...which depends on you as an individual—how easily influenced you are).
Fiction can be presented through various narratives that—depending on the author's intent—lend themselves to analysis, questioning, and even debate... but if you are impressionable enough to want to imitate a caricatured version of fiction and place it on the same level as damn reality, then you don't possess much critical thinking.
The only thing that bothers me about this character is that if he feels so lonely, why doesn't he just call his current partner and talk about it, instead of thinking about cheating in a public restroom—all just because he feels lonely?
