First, u need to lock ur gallery with an app or something. You did her a great favor to let her borrow ur phone and she is kinda rude to have a peek without ur permission. And maybe just act normal. Don't mind it too much because it is hard to prevent rumors. Maybe take this chance to ask that "friend" of urs to introduce that guy to u. Then, u could at least have ur crush know that u exist. Just be like I just wanna be friends and the rumors aren't true....yet. ;)

It really all depends on the person themselves. Some friends/lovers will stay and others wont. I guess it all depends on how strong their feelings for each other are. Even if they do not believe in the fake shit that was talked about their friend/lovers, deep down they might start to have doubts themselves.
