I got impatient and read the novel skipped all the chapters before the big reveal and still understood what was happening honstly its really predictable what happens at the end but I feel like mc's trauma wasn't addressed enough and omg the ml were both pissing me off so much even after the reveal. The happy but not happy ending was also good for this manhwa. I think this is the first manhwa I've read in which the mc isn't brainwashed and there is no couple at the end.
I thought it was a manhua at first when I saw the Chinese flag and then later on when the smut scene and the Tibet scene came i thought the author had a death wish then remembered Taiwan existed but I wrong on both guesses lol.
Honestly the plot was so good that the sci-fi future it self makes it a 7/10. Xiao hu also reminded me of little mushroom a little bit by how Xiao hu was essentially a copy of thr iriginal but diff personality just like in little .The whole Robot x Human love dynamic was also beautifully portaryed and the movie scene also adds on to that. But that ending was super confusing we literally didn't get any answers how how xiao hu switched back to original body and istg I thought they were gonna leave the military but they didnt??
I feel like the adaptation skipped over so many things as well. I might have to read the novel.
But considering all the flaws I would recomend you to read this very worth it.
