this season is a cautionary tale to NEVER marry a rich person. cuz even if they’re nice and the greatest person in the world, they come from EVIL. and their family has the RESOURCES to destroy you and make u disappear. true wealth is something you as an individual will never be able to fight against. evil ppl have already thought about and made plans about how to fuck you over and completely get away with it. I read the novel and it for the most part is drawn as is. I never warmed up to Gjord I can understand the appeal and need for his character as this thankless lover who actions behind the scene prove his love but as he is presented as is to a reader going along the narrative journey, this man just came across as pushy “mysterious” sex pest and that never changed for me.
