The POTENTIAL this story has. I’m not complaining about the ml being an asshole, he definitely is, but I think that added to the depth of the story, well that was, until recent chapters. As someone had pointed out; he was really dedicated to his sister. I really loved that. I don’t mean that every chapter should talk about his sister and his dedication, but the way it’s going I feel they might lose that touch.
Moreover I loved how the mc as a woman was getting a kick out of the Prince by being INDIFFERENT, but then suddenly they add these feelings and make mc go “why am I feeling sad” and “what the hell do they two have going on” and “he’s so angelic”. Nooo you’re supposed to make him beg for you!! Also I’m iffy about how the Prince is gay but somehow he suddenly develops a soft spot for a woman. It IS his second marriage so yes I do get it that he MIGHT BE BISEXUAL or MIGHT BE BETTER TO HIS WIFE but he was SO heartless with the first that it did feel iffy. Unless, the first murder of the wife isn’t what we think it is, but he still was an asshole to that cousin guard. God he’s a weirdly complex character. This plot is so great but it feels iffy too I don’t know how I should feel about this exactly.

I feel like this conversation devolved pretty quickly and I agree with the other person that you don't seem to understand the point of the story? I understand that the MC comes across unlikeable and such but that's the point of the story. The guy is in the midst of highschool as someone closeted and knows that he'll never be able to show his feelings to his crush.
The bully's actions are no way in his control and I get the feeling of wanting him to stop it but the point is that his actions have no value in the situation really. The bully doesn't care about him, the MC is just one of the many friends he can hang out with and that's shown with the lack of regard he shows the MC. The decision to start bullying and continue bullying is all in the hands of the actual bully.
Tbh you can even say that the MC provided more good in the situation, giving Taesan both physical and emotional support. Though that doesn't excuse the MC's thoughts.
I can appreciate the writer not making it a black and white situation, often people end up liking people who aren't the greatest and even when you know that you still crave their attention. This is that situation.
I feel like it'll progress to the MC exploding his thoughts to Taesan when they have a one to one or something. Would be an interesting scene.
