umm im reading the comments on both the side stories and main and i HATE how ppl r hating more on doona than everyone else in the story. Doona, wookyung and minho all have their wrongs and i feel like out of all of them, minho doesnt see how his actions are wrong compared to wookyung and doona where doona understands how her actions are wrong and trieeed to take some feeble action towards it by trying to distance herself from haesol and gyerin (which gyerin thought was annoying and she called her out abt smth at some point) and wookyung, he js doesnt care ig?
But besides that i hate how some people are also saying minho doesnt deserve any of the pain hes going through, bc i feel like he doesnt deserve EVERYTHING he went through in both the stories but a slight bit he lowkey did, i mean did u guys even read the story and see all the shit he done?? Verbally abused his gf, rude to random ppl, talked shi abt his gf, lowk misogynistic, beat up haesol, plagaraized his own friends work who btw HAS A BABY AND IS IN NEED OF MONEY AND TRUSTED HIM WHILE KNOWING WHAT KIND OF PERSON HE WAS, like i getttt u grew up poor and ur dad is a piece of shit but that really doesnt excuse his behavior. Also i fear he kinda knew what was coming i mean like acting like an arrogant piece of shit to everyone even after being in the lowest point of ur life to the point u had to oink like a pig while being naked?? he didnt even try to become a better person so he has himself to blame for what everything has to come.
Also im definetly not defending wookyung or doonas actions because all 3 of those characters r definietly pieces of shits in their own ways like wookyung even in his uni life he was a proper weirdo like while he was doing his bdsm stuff with jongwoo which honestly i wouldnt even call it proper bdsm cuz he was lowkey js abusing and forcing my poor baby jongwoo cl, and like him and doona were friends right? it was lowk weird that he was tryna take his friends ex too and him training doona into being a sub dont forget that (lowkey i rlly wanna know how wookyung got into bdsm plz someone tell me if u know )
And yeah finally doona, id say shes slightly similar to wookyung but not rlly? she does have a forceful nature which she lowkey learnt from wookyung but she does improve and learn communication while doing it with haesol. And personally i felt she kind of had a lack of accountability too at points of the story. But yeah both doona and wookyung are also rapists unlike minho which you cant really deny but you also cant deny that she did tell wookyung multiple times that hes doing way to much to minho and hes not the type of person to enjoy that sort of thing. But then again she did do those sort of things with minho but minho still kept coming back to her despite knowing how shes like so its slightly on him. her character is a bit messy cl but it doesnt make it alright that she is the most hated character in the story when she doesnt even do stuff as bad as wookyung and she did suffer from minhos character from the past too.
Anyways besides that, i really dont like how people also act like doona is some princess in this story where she gets whateveeer she wants without consequences and everyone loves her bc its literally not true, like everyone has their own reasons for liking her to a certain extent either in this story because they dont know the real her or bc they like her from past experiences but there are other people who dont "love" her and actually find her quite annoying like her brother finds her annoying af and gyerin started to get annoyed by her too despite wanting to pursue in a relationship with her. And her life isnt rainbows and unicorns either like she does suffer consequences from her actions between her relationships and it kind of does suck writing a piece after so long while being pressured by other people, like yes she does get good opportunities but thats just because she was good at writing? Minho couldve gotten could writing opportunities too since he was in the runner ups in that comp in uni but he instead became an insecure bitch and js ruined his own life...

I'm really glad I took the time before I read this manhwa. I'm usually not the type to leave comments but the story in itself is actually not that bad. If you're sensitive it's better for you to not read this because it does contain triggering content, mostly coercion, dubious consent, and straight-up rape.
Reading this now I get why people hate this, granted because of the contents, but I often see this get a lot of hate because of the MC. Which is confusing to me because most of them liked the BL side story with Wookyung who is much worse than Doona. I just want to say that I do not agree with most of the actions Doona did. She did took advantage of poor Haesol and well Minho... But what I appreciate about her is that she actually felt guilty abt what she did, she also has morals(?) unlike Wookyung, and she actually tried to be better. I have not yet read the side stories and I most likely won't read it.
Oh gosh I have some thoughts about Minho I would like a backstory on why he is like this but most of what has happened to him could've been avoided. Minho is very insecure, clearly misogynistic, an abuser (verbally), and a guy who took advantage of his friend. Him beating up Haesol because he was jealous and insecure, was a real real low for him. Karma hit him hard but even still he doesn't deserve this much karma.
Wookyung needs to go to jail.
Everybody should just get therapy.
I love Haesol so much he's so cute :(((. I liked the bdsm plays especially with Gyerin it was so hawt. BDSM done right would've been great, it's clear the author could make one but please make it without rape I'm tired of these manhwas tagged as bdsm then turns out it's straight-up assault.

Michel handels the whole situation like a champ, eloquently putting words to his feelings and raising his concerns even though Ian just ignores Michels questions and starts the blaming game again. Poor Michel ~

This story is for sure Immoral in every sense. Ml kept calling him slut and only said his name like 3 or 4 times till the very end. Mc kept wondering if he had Stockhome syndrome he became addicted to sex and he was obsessing over the top
The top kept fucking him even when hes passed out as if thats normal. Ml is an ex convict hes not gentle and never changed he stayed rough and rude but super generous

Theres def no romance except when he gave him a black card to spend and saved him a few times from perverts he knew in the past (mc been around the block and had sex with way too many problematic people). Top sometimes affectionate in bed but rare but no romance outside the bedroom so dont expect them to be warm n fuzzy

Mc became so fuckn horny and then complains abt it. He might have had his defiant moments but theyre brief and he goes back to being submissive

The best part of the story which I think was kinda turning point in their relationship when the top didnt contact him for a whole week. Mc got annoyed he was tossed aside so he ends up packing to go somewhere for a few days but first goes to the same gay bar. I guess he was tailed and was brought back to his house. Even tho the top beat him up when he asked him why the suitcase he thought he was running away. Thats when mc finally talked back in a way and it shows this gangster is NEVER letting him go which some might think is endearing? And it doesnt help mc is a freak for him like he always wondered if he liked him or why hed be this obsessed with having sex w him.
I think if this didnt have the comedic factor it would be toxic.. the top is hot and the way the novel describes him the manhwa didnt do him justice. Hes hot loyal but so damn rude. They also never said they liked each other

I am aware that the mc did rape the ml when they were minors and it resulted in the mls mom being hospitalized.However the method in which heās taking his revenge is too toxic.Hear me out what the mc did was rape ml record it then send to mls mother.Now letās think about everything the the ml has done to the mc thereās an insane gap in severity (TIME WISE).Also didnāt the ml already record a video of the mc being raped by multiple men ( I mentioned this because it seemed like a good place to end the abuse by just posting a video like what the mc did to ml) instead the abuse has only escalated.obviously you could say the mc had this coming but honestly this method of revenge is helping no one.AT FIRST maybe the ml felt like he was taking his power back by doing this and it made him feel better ,but now all heās doing by raping the mc is making theyāre dynamic more and MORE toxic.
