If '"the one" being meant for you' is something like a fated or destined forever person, then no. Perhaps you can be destined/fated to meet somebody, but "the one" is purely choice. My parent gave my name to mean something along the lines of to be caring/loving, for me to grow up that way. The official meanings is close to that, a name that means pure, beloved, or to be loving.
