Honestly, it's not terrible and the action is good, there's just not much to it? Like, there's no struggle, no real conflict that needs to get resolved. There is a criminally underlooked aspect of this story which is the intelligent monsters and associated item text, like what do you mean the gods kicked out the druid for having domination abilities????? Why is he so not curious about any of it?
Right he is like yeah I'mma join the association, arrest criminals and closed all gates and that's it. Like he barely even talk about the people who killed him like dude where are they, are you gonna take revenge? What do you mean close all gates? You are not trying to find out why the gates are there to begin with where they come from or anything. So how you will close all of them and know that new ones won't come? Author is trying to make him powerful and cool but is forgetting some crucial things
Yeah… I’m only 38 chapters in and I’ve been feeling this. It’s too easy. He had rage towards those who betrayed him at the start, but now it’s nowhere to be seen. I’d like to see him struggle a little and have something not go his way. Also, I could never not be curious about what’s going on. It’s going to be hard on me to watch him ignore everything that’s interesting. Also, I had this thought since the first chapter. How can he know that it’s possible to close all the gates and more won’t just appear??? Wasn’t the first gate he went into a new gate? The math is not mathing for me.

I really liked this manga and I want to enjoy it again but the whole pregnancy thing just skeeves me out to the point that I can't even start rereading it. It would be different if at least one character called him out for how messed up it is to impregnate a young girl he thought of as his daughter. Just yikes.
