I watched Fated to love you as a kid but I’m currently rewatching as an adult which to my surprise, I like it more. I feel I can understand each character more and their choices but I don’t remember disliking Se-RA character as much when I younger. More over I feel they glossed over why Miyoung’s character had such low confidence because her ...... reply
You took two different topics of feminism and made it choose one of the other scenario. Men suffering from the patriarchy too is an objective statement, but women are directly affected by the patriarchy. Yes, men do owe us women basic understanding that we are humans who have the same rights. “Is it feminism or misandry” doesn’t match your mo...... reply
I think there is BL “cherry blossom after spring” that kinda has this scenario. The only reason is what acceptable is because they never formed a sibling bond or was blood related. Incest is wrong because even if the parties are the same age and can’t reproduce , it’s traumatically unhealthy mentally for both parties. It would start a rela...... reply
No, the reason why other racial slurs hold so much weight is because of the generational oppression the victims faced, as to cracker comes from yts cracking the whips on slaves back. Cracker for that very reason can’t be a slur, due to it being a response towards a very vile oppressive action. reply
Generally I like to read multiple genres from bl, shoujo, Josei, and etc. Recently I feel that there’s an increase in stoic main characters which personally I felt nothing wrong about it before but recently the few manhwas and mangas have main leads with no character traits which is so annoying to me. Like there whole character is having a personality of log which is so boring and hard to read. Like good plot and everything but the side characters are way more interesting than the actual main character which is insane. That’s who story revolves around. Like it’s okay to have stoic characters but they don’t have to be flat.
I’ll always get angry at fatphobia and lookism because I believe in body autonomy. Like why are we constantly hating on people for being fat. As someone who’s currently fat, when I was skinny I always wondered why people pointed at the kid who super fat when they were just existing. As someone who also wears heavy makeup I overheard people talking about my face with negative comments. I just don’t understand why we live in society that cares what other people do with their bodies. There’s been times when I’ll argue against fatphobia and some would bring up unhealthy diets. In my mind, okay if someone is unhealthy with Their diet who are you to hate on them.
