From my sketchy memory, there is (probably?) an immortal woman who shouts "I will forget you!" to her lover as they die (/disappear??) to reassure them that she'll be fine. After he's gone, she breaks down in tears and admits that she'll never forget him.

The ml turns really blushy in front of both forms and she teases him a lot for it. The first chapter they're in a fight and she reveals her male form.
