it depends on the isekai i think. for example for wmmp it was hinted that our athy was also the original athy but reincarnated after dying in Korea. but yea usually when they go to some novel they read, it's justs a fictional character with a set story line so the "person" / character that was replaced isnt really a soul/a person ig?   reply
