I love Siana sm! I think it is so nice to see a multi-faceted character. One who is kind because of the abuse that she had to endure, but also strong-willed in the face of hardship. Love her sm!
tbh i think it's unfair to apply our morals to it in the case of this is omegaverse... like i think fictional literature SHOULD have boundaries obviously, and if this wasnt omegaverse, yeah I would apply the same morals as in i would also be pretty uncomfortable, but bc it is omegaverse, it's a lot more of being primal and instinctual. In my eyes it was just Ash's instincts fully taking control and it's not always a mind over matter, but just how their body functions. Like in the context of this manhwa, when Lyle had his rut, he was delirious to the point he called Ash and even fainted. In other omegaverses too, omegas are often seen "losing" their rationality. It's just the way their body is and you can't really blame them / attribute it to their character. And I think Ash did take precaution for this by telling Carlyle to leave, but carlyle insisted on staying. Furthermore, Lyle even mentioned it was a new side of Ash and that he was happy or at least comforted(?) knowing he was exposed to this side of Ash.
i just think that there’s in universe ways to make this less rapey. like the option for emergency suppressants or something. also ash should’ve properly explained what his rut would be like if he was going to stay where carlyle could access him. but this is beef more with the author than any particular character
I agree I think the best depiction I have s3en is in Prey. Sadly it has been dropped but there is so much consent. Also even when the Alpha is in rut they are not completely mindless. They can be convinced to wear a condom, and let their Omega eat. Basically they want to see all the time but they go my mate is thirsty or hungry there will be more dicking but first must take care of mate.

Also I think Ash kind of did say, if u come over, do so at ur own risk, in a way to carlyle. I feel like even Carlyle should have known considering he is an alpha himself, but then again i know a lot of his emotions have been suppressed due to his upbringing.
I feel like many manhwa readers, especially of this type of genre, are used to FLs with strong personalities and have something unique (ex. intelligence, power, ability, etc.,) about them, aside from their beauty. And even Fls who were in a similar position to Erna whether that be being abused, having a dead mother, being from the countryside away from nobility, or entering a marriage of convenience, and have come out stronger than ever. Well, that is not the case for Erna, just as many abuse survivors don't all come out the same. I love a story with strong-willed female characters, but not all women are like that. Just to quote, 'well-behaved women seldom make history', while we all want to read women who are badass and vengeful, history is full of silent women.
You got me to change my mind about this story, kinda hated it in the beginning for how pitiful the FL looked (and ML)but I realize it’s more realistic. She’s not pitiful but resilient and graceful. But I still hope she’ll have more happiness going forward.

Yes, I actually read another book review that said "history is full of silent women" and it really touched my heart and changed my perspective. There's pain in silence and with that pain is also resilience.
im kind of surprised so many people dislike this story. i find it much more enjoyable than the bland stories... these characters have backstories and are complex, they have solid development. much unlike other such stories where one character just falls for the other and there's some random villainess
It's because when the story first came out nobody like the ML, we thought he was a toxic ML who's gonna use the FL.
This could've been avoided if the translators did a mass release.
After reading the manga I see why it has a low review. There's no plot, and as we look through the eyes of the protagonists, it's depressing. the FL is broke and has no one to depend on, and the ML is a workaholic, who's blaming himself for the death of his parents. Without a plot, as readers, we don't know when this misery will end, and seeing someone's sadness, makes you feel like shit.
The way I see it, just because there's no intro explaining everything like common isekai do, doesn't mean this one doesn't have a plot. It resolves around the struggle of the fl and ml. And looking at the story now it's quite clear where the story might goes.
A young, naive, bored, spoiled noblewoman getting out her shell and learning to actually live her life.
A stubborn, revengeful, and ambitious man who's learning to cope with his past and future.
It doesn't need dragons, royals, or magic to make it look interesting, that's the beauty of this story.
Yeah that's why i'm sticking to the story but i might have t wait to binge read. Since reading about characters that u care struggles is really draining.
