Anyways, the uke suck as a person and as a character. He's the kind of guy I don't want to be friends with even if he's attractive or smart. His personality genuinely sucks. Let me list a few things that ticked me off:
At the beginning of the story, the story itself aka the narrator lets you know that he's faking everything due to past trauma or experience. Okay a complex mc with another terrible backstory! But.... genuinely speaking here, he's a terrible written character and by far insufferable. The story wants you to think he's faking about being a "nice good student" BUT he rarely acts like it. If anything, he acts like some regular average students that just wants to survive the day. If a character is truly faking about being a nice student at least convince me about it (show me, don't tell me for crying out loud) but no, he's a selfish jerk through and through. He doesn't put up a facade, he rarely gives a shit about anybody other than himself. He only helps when asked to or felt like it (if it benefits him). Other than that, he truly DOES NOTHING as a character with no improvement or even an arc. There are many instances where he does seem to be acting like a good student or whatever the story wants you to see so I'm not gonna ignore that part but heck am I supposed to like that now? Honestly he's selfish through and through. He saw a classmate being abused by his crush but no he goes blind about it and acts jealous. Both him and the seme are trash. I love complex characters but using that as an excuse for a terribly written character is shit. A character can be complex but loved at the same time. Take Joker or Harley as an example. Heck, even White Lily from CRK. Worse part is the story excuses the Uke's bad behavior due to his past experience. What? I'm sorry? We have Jaekyung whose abusive behavior was also excused by his past yet at least he's trying himself to improve. See?! The standard is low now but this uke? Nah, he's a bitch
imo I think the novel does a better job in depiciting juns way of thinking and paints a better picture of how bad of a person he is based on how he sees other people/views the hierarchy. he’s like a smidge more understandable. here in the manhwa it’s hard to incorporate all that monologue lol so u see him doing bad things and then all of a sudden they make him look like thr victim. i honestly can’t stand when ppl r like “aw jun my baby yohan doesn’t deserve u” bc of the manhwa like… yea they lwk deserve eachother they’re both trash people

This may contradict what other people are saying about the MC being bland and boring but honestly I really really love the MC. He's not the type of character where the story gets dragged along because of a misunderstanding. No, he's not. He actually communicates with the ML properly. He's a very mature, protective and independent man. He has so many badass moments that makes you wanna drop your jaw and cheer for him. Dude actually uses his brain. He is not annoyingly rude but not naive and overly nice as well. His major flaw is jumping into dangerous situations that could get him killed.

For the ML? I don't have much to say. For me, I think his character may lack some depth but he's not the worst guy ever lol.
They're so adorable together fr. There may be some slight red flags but they're both pretty down bad and match each other's freaks. The MC is very protective of ML and same goes for the ML. They both treasure each other deeply (the story keeps portraying it) which is just so sweet.

Oh Jiwon. As much as I relate to him as a person with self doubt, he makes me wanna roll my eyes in frustration. The drama is so forced and the uke is so ugh... At least the seme is trying to make things up by calling to him and trying to explain his side in Chapter 45. Jiwon should dig himself a grave with all the nonsense he's saying without any regard of his partner's feelings. He means well, I know but good gracious.
