The truth is it's "random" on who gets their lists back. Apparently some people didn't get their lists back and once they contacted mangago they said it was corrupted
For me personally none of my lists have returned and I've already started logging in reads bc I don't got time to wait on them
I'll fix my lists myself gradually over time

ive been tracking my reading lists (want to read / current reads / bookmarks etc.) outside of mangago in notion for years, just in case something like this happened or if the site ever goes down.
i honestly recommend doing the same!!! yes it’s annoying to track everything twice, but the peace of mind is worth it.

does mangago have some kind of censorship that myreadingmanga doesn't have? idk if im imagining things but it always feels like the stuff i read on there is so much more graphic and crazier than here… even the smut.

MRM is a hentai site, mangago isn't. Yeah there's alot of porn on here too, but it's not the only type of works that are here.
As for the censorship, I don't think there is any, supposedly there is not supposed to be any shota content on here and yet there is, so... I guess whatever weird things you've seen on MRM just haven't been uploaded on here, not that they can't.

People can be reading here for years, no one is actively reading 1k stories at once
I at most had to keep up with 30 stories at once and is like.. pretty easy to remember them and keep up since its one chapter per sometimes
i have seen ppl with 10k reads so 1k is lowkey the average tbh, n on my part i have around 2k n it has been 6 years so let’s say in one year i read around 300 stories (1/day)
ive been here since 2020, we’re not all bato migrators. and we receive updates for new chapters. barely 20 get adapted everyday for me
