I’m dropping this because I can already feel myself pulling my hair out if I read any further. The fact that everyone knowingly manipulated April, destroyed her family, stole their assets, framed her as a witch, and even her childhood friend is secretly investigating and deceiving her??? If I were April and got the chance to go back 10 years, I’d stop my parents from poisoning that man and then build my own army. I cannot take this anymore.
Saw the commons, read until chapter 10 knew the female lead was a little bit behind also had a feeling that it was going to get weirder so I'm not into it I hope other people enjoy it it's not for me hope it gets more interesting for the rest of time readers so that they can enjoy the rest of the story but I'm going to have to say bye love you guys and enjoy the rest of this story
I know everyone is blaming the male lead, but let's see let's talk about the female lead for a second. If you knew that your husband loved you so much that he would turn up like this, wouldn't you start investigating why it happened, why he suddenly changed, but no, you had all of the clues in your dreams, all of them, you saw them one by one, and you chose still not to do anything. At this point, I just think you want this to happen.
I’m not saying Claudia is wrong for having feelings for her attendant, because from the way she looks at him and the way she talks about him, it does seem like she genuinely cares for him. But I do find the situation interesting because it seems to conflict with the values she herself stated at the beginning.
She said nobles have responsibilities and that their marriages are not always about personal feelings, but about the benefit of their family and country. Many nobles in her world probably entered arranged marriages without loving their partner at first, only to eventually develop feelings for them.
So my question is: if Claudia does love her attendant, does she believe she should be an exception to the same rules she expects others to follow? Especially because he is a commoner or not and she is a princess, the situation is much more complicated than just "choosing the person you love."
I think that’s what makes her character interesting. It’s not that she has feelings for him—it’s whether she will apply the same principles to herself that she applies to everyone else.
I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I honestly sympathize with the older sister more than the heroine. I'm not excusing everything she did, but once her backstory is revealed, it's hard not to understand how she became who she was.
At the same time, I don't think the younger sister is completely blameless. Yes, she was sheltered and protected, but at some point she had the freedom to question things. Why did her sister act like a demon? Why was the kingdom suffering? Why did everything seem so wrong? Curiosity is a choice too.
To me, that's what makes this story tragic. One sister carried every burden alone, while the other lived in blissful ignorance. Neither deserved their fate, but I can't see the younger sister as completely innocent either.
I guess this one's erotica is going to be on a whole other level with this art style....
I'm not saying the progression of the story is rushed, but I am saying that Rosetta's emotional progression feels rushed. This woman was abused by the person she loved, watched her family get killed over and over again—not just in her first life, but in her second one too—and yet she seems to open up about her feelings so quickly. I honestly expected her to be a little more emotionally detached, but maybe that's just me.
And then there's the situation with her sister. Rosetta keeps saying that she knows Yurian better than he knows himself, but if that's true, shouldn't she have realized that he would target her little sister first? She became so focused on helping her love interest and her assassin that she completely overlooked her sister's emotional state. It was only after she finally noticed that something was wrong that she reacted.
I don't know, maybe I'm missing something, but I was sitting there thinking, "Girl... your sister is literally breaking down right in front of you."
At this point, I feel like we can’t deny where the story is heading and who Olivia will probably end up with. The way things are unfolding makes the ending seem pretty clear now.
Her husband hopefully her ex husband, by the time this is done is so stupid, he's being manipulated by them nose, and he can't even see as far as his sword, this is the stupidest I will be so pissed off if he's the male lead, because I will just drop it, but this is interesting, because you can see she's not backing down, she is not backing now, she's fighting for what she believes it, and I loved that for her, but her husband is utterly crazy, disgusting, despicable kind of pathetic, this is from me reading chapter 32
also, now that she's gone, she's not incompetent anymore, but y'all still call her and call me because she loved the country isn't didn't you say she was a witch, why do you still want her with you if he's so incompetent, shouldn't you just let her go but no because was gone, now you have to deal with the consequences of your actions. This is what happens when you don't appreciate the good thing that you have, you all were oh same to serve healing saint, this of healing, but the sameness of warning you guys did not even give her the time of day, so now you want to her to come back to protect you, why would anyone protect the country who doesn't want to be protected by her, so let the girl go
I'm gonna say no, because I was very disturbed, but anyone who likes this type of story go right ahead
