urusei yatsura, you might already know about it since the original series theme went viral a few years back, plus it got a modern reboot as well

the manga ran in the late 70’s, while the original anime ran from the early to mid 80’s, with 6? I believe? movies afterward including several ova’s

the original series to this day is still very popular especially in japan and influenced the anime industry majorly, being a pioneer in terms of the harem genre among other things

the plot summarized is that lum, an oni species alien princess comes to earth one day and meets ataru, a 17 year old teenager who’s very flirty but unlucky guy in general

(lum actually was supposed to be a short term character but since she was so unexpectedly popular with the audience at the time, they kept her in the story and made her the main character and face of the series instead of ataru)

lum during a competition with him misunderstands ataru’s own girlfriend in the crowd telling him if he wins, she’ll marry him, and lum falls ‘hard’ for him to put it lightly and declares ataru is now her darling (no really, lum very rarely in the series calls him by his actual name)

as a result, lum now lives with him and his family alongside ataru’s own girlfriend dumping him later for another guy

ataru may ‘act’ like he hates lum and at first he understandably does, but as the series goes on he grows to have clear moments in both the original anime and manga that make it clear that he’s both protective and deeply cares for her all things considered, he just has alot of coping methods and walls up

after all, he’s self aware that his own friends don’t actually give a damn or like him, especially when lum comes into the picture (seeing as how they all can’t believe lum loves him of all people)

he’s also not used to commitment, seeing as how prior to lum’s arrival all the girls he constantly tried to ask out all rejected him, but lum was the one and only girl who never did and loves him for ‘him’ and he knows that, and is more then aware that if lum really wanted, she could leave whenever

anyway, the modern reboot wasn’t that great since it cut alot of original content and episodes from the manga and original series unfortunately which resulted in it being very rushed

I won’t lie though, I prefer the originals music by far, but some of the reboots music isn’t that bad such as this one, I also included a mini playlist of some of the originals music too

I think it was a oneshot manga it was about a high schooler being bullied by this one guy and he fucks him too then he calls him faggot and the mc was like if you fuck me that makes you gay too then the bully crashes out that's all i remember TwT
