Hmmm. The concept is great, and the way the story focuses more on the plot rather than their secondary genders is rather refreshing. But a lot of the dialogue and decisions are too much par for the course. Like, putting the red stone on a box, Yuder's thoughts seems to convey that this is a genius, "How did he think of doing that", decision. But bro, that's just critical thinking at the least?
His inner thoughts are way too simplistic for someone who was once a very high ranking commander.
About that part, it’s actually written a little differently in the novel. Yuder didn’t really think “how did Kishiar think of that so soon?” Rather, it was narrated that Kishiar basically had arrived at the same conclusion Yuder had. I’m not sure if the manhwa also made Yuder seem particularly surprised by Kishiar’s plan, for me it was more like, “I didn’t expect him to come up with it this soon.”
Also, idk if you’ve read the novel, but a lot of the methods or ideas Kishiar came up with had actually already been considered by Yuder before. He was rarely genuinely outwitted by anyone (usually if he was behind someone, it was because he didn’t have access to informations at the time). Kishiar also called on Yuder for advice pretty often actually
