I mean as a character, you see in the first 15 ch or so that she’s strong willed and badass and then she just cries… don’t get me wrong it’s a good story to read but yeah I was wondering why
I'm not a huge fan of crybabies either, but I think I kinda understand why she cried more in her current life time. I think it was cause many truths were revealed, and she became aware of her parents suffering, specially her dad. I think as she experienced a wider variety of emotions throughout her journey she became more vulnerable. But since I've been reading this for the past 2-3 years, so it's been a slow burn for me. Maybe if I reread it all in one go it would become more aparent to me.
i second this. showing more emotion doesn't mean weak yk. and imo, in her last life, she is already emotional. being a neglected child, she vented out her emotion in a wrong way back then.
but again, i'm the same as you, i read it as it go. so i don't even remember the detail of what happened in the earlier chapters.
Couldn’t even finish last chapters as it was so damn annoying
As much as I feel simpathy for Eclis, his relationship with Penelope is too much like child grooming. Meanwhile, her relationship with Callisto is authentic.
I'd prefer if Penelope returned home after clearing the game, but if not possible, I hope she stays with the prince. So sorry for Eclis, though, it will hurt.
It would be a spoiler tho and I don’t want to be killed lol
You can read spoilers here https://forum.novelupdates.com/threads/death-is-the-only-ending-for-the-villain.97486/
Yeah. If you think about it, it was doomed to fail.
Penny see Eclis as a tool, her giving him stuff and bonding with him were all done because of a second agenda. It's very clear she doesn't love him at best she sees him as acquaintance. Nothing more nothing less. An ally to her but not a friend. Honestly felt sorry for Eclis.
Finally the latest chapters have shed some light into her loveless marriage and her thought process. I mean, I like her a tiny bit better now (even if I don’t agree with her way of doing things) because now I can understand what it meant for her and why her marriage was just for show basically
